COVID during FET cycle

Hi, does anyone have experience of having COVID during a FET? I have chatgbt and it says it is advised to delay it.

I am currently day 10 of a medicated cycle, scan due in 2 days to check the lining and transfer scheduled for the 10th. I have contacted my clinic and awaiting a response but I'm a bit sceptical of them sometimes as my last FET went ahead when my lining was only 6.7 and I've read a lot of clinics wouldn't go ahead with that measurement. My symptoms started a week ago, they have been quite severe and I've been in bed most the week. TIA.

I would phone the clinic and ask.
I think the concern will be about you potentially having a fever over feeling generally unwell.

I was told to avoid sauna, hotub, hot baths or showers that make my skin red. Consultant also said to avoid things that make me sweat after transfer.

Im wondering with my last transfer that did not stick if I also had covid when I went for my transfer. It was a fresh transfer and the day of transfer I woke with a niggly cough but thought nothing of it as it was a cold morning . But over the next few days after transfer the niggly cough turned into full blown non stop coughing, along with severe congestion, and a chest infection and I needed antibiotics, that transfer didnt take, I was then very sick for 3 months on strong antibiotics with no closer to getting better and I had 3 ivf cycles cancelled as my clinic said no to ivf meds and transfers while I was ill, they told me I needed to be in good health especially as ivf meds can have a huge impact on your immune system. Also a lining under 7mm should be grounds for cancellation and your transfer should not have gone ahead so your failed cycle should have been the clinics costs. Im so sorry that happened to you.

Thanks both for your replies. They have said it's fine to go ahead if I feel up to it. I have a scan tomorrow so I'll see what comes of that.

It does say online that it can cause inflammation that can stop implantation.
