I'm 12 days post FET and tested just now and got an incredibly faint line. Pretty sure you would expect a positive to be stronger than this at this stage. Has anyone ever had similar?

Does your clinic do bloods OP? Might be worth getting hcg checked x

confused2025 · 11/08/2025 09:38

I think you should also get your bloods taken OP. It’s the only way to know. Sending positive thoughts x

Have you tested again today to see if any progression? I would have blood tests done 2 days apart to check beta levels. Fingers crossed for you, it is stressful.

Unfortunately the same today

The thing I keep thinking is that I have ruined this embryos chances by over lifting. I have a toddler who I have needed to lift in and out of the bath and car seats. It was pretty unavoidable.

Does anyone know how likely this is as a cause?

I am besides myself not for the result but by the feeling that I am responsible

Until 6 weeks preg i believe , theres always risk of chemical pregnancy

Perhaps get beta hcg done 3 days / 72 hrs apart ?

Ask your clinic for advice
They often dont scan til 7 wks

Had you pgta tested embryo s ?

confused2025 · 11/08/2025 13:39

@Pleasehelp200this isn’t your doing so don’t blame yourself. IVF is a bit of a roll the dice experience and sadly mostly it doesn’t work. Was this your first transfer? You may have late implantation so worth checking bloods and would explain the faint line. My first transfer was a chemical and it was very tough to deal with. Whatever the outcome, you’re not alone x

waitingforourmiracle · 11/08/2025 14:08

You're absolutely not to blame! Speak to your clinic about bloods, there could be a lot of different reasons why this happening so please don't think it's something you have done! It's very tough I know, be kind to yourself x

Whatever happens you are definitely not to blame! Judging by the commonplace age gap of 2 or 3 years, loads of women conceive and keep a pregnancy having needed to regularly lift a toddler out of the bath, buggy or car seat - it must happen all the time.
