Good afternoon,Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation to me and what they did next?I'm 35 years old and have 3 children. My elder 2 were conceived naturally after many years of trying, and my youngest was conceived using clomid and letrozole due to me having PCOS.In February of this year I found out I was pregnant. It was a natural pregnancy and completely out the the blue as I hadn't fallen pregnant naturally in nearly 10 years. At 8 weeks pregnant I had a miscarriage. Whilst seeing the consultant she prescribed me metformin to try and regulate my period and help me conceived again. Since the miscarriage in April I have had 2 back to back chemical pregnancies and losing hope.I know you can be seen by the recurrent miscarriage team but I have read that chemical pregnancies are not considered a recurring miscarriage, is this true? Before getting pregnant at the beginning of the year, I wasn't even thinking about having another baby, but since then it's all I want. I used to joke to people that I struggle to get pregnant but once I am it's a breeze with no sickness, no cravings and short labour's. Now my fertility has flipped and I am getting pregnant easy but can't seem to stay pregnant.Sorry for the long post, any advice would be very much welcome.

My chemical did count for referral to the recurrent miscarriage clinic so maybe try chase that again? You might not get a clear answer why this has happened but it can be helpful to rule somethings out at least. Did you have any difficulties with your third birth that could have changed things? Miscarriage rate does increase as women get older and have more abnormal eggs so that could be a factor potentially?

Your most recent child you were 25 and have had 2 others in your teens/ early 20s. You must’ve been ttc really young if you tried for years? Maybe being a bit older it might just take a bit longer to find the right one? Lots of women miscarry and go on to have successful pregnancies.
