What was your BMI at on your NHS funded round?

I’m currently doing Keto to get my weight down but my BMI is at 29.5 but I’m nervous as I know how strict they are and it also depends on the time that they weigh you as weight fluctuates! I’d prefer to get it to 28 so I know I’m definitely a lot lower but I feel like it’s taken ages. What was your BMI when you weighed in?

@worldwidetravel2017Thanks! I know my clinic will weigh me because I’ve had IVF previously and they weighed me then. Edinburgh are quite strict unfortunately

My funding letter says BMI must remain between 19-30 throughout.

Mine is 24. I dont remember being weighed though

I was weighed when I first saw the NHS consultant gynecologist who revommended us for IVF, my BMI was 29.5. I was never weighed again! The IVF clinic just asked me my weight when we were completing consent forms before starting the cycle. I was really lucky because I had actually gained weight so wouldn't have been eligible. My BMI was probably around 31 by then. I remember being soooo terrified of being weighed again.

My clinic weighed me every round, I was always a a few lb over and had to fight to get down to 30. Currently doing it now for my FET 🤦🏻‍♀️

My NHS clinic weighed me on a special chair scale thing. My BMI then would have been low but not underweight. They also weighed DH and were reportedly quite strict on BMI for both partners. I was not weighed at private clinics, think they took my word for it (but maybe they would weigh if they suspect close to the limit).
