Starting this thread for anybody doing FET in June and want to share or ask questions!

38F here doing FET#2 after a failed FET.
Got my lining thickness checked today and got the green light to do transfer 3rd June! Fingers X’ed progesterone levels increase nicely as they will do blood test day before transfer to check it.

As im a pcos patient
With suspected endo too.

Due a period starting next week

Then add in estrogen patches and blood thinner etc

My lining was good b4 the egg coll - had to be over 7 something and mine was over 10

Obviously with pgta testing
And because im only allowed frozen transfers - body had a little kinda break

Ultimately this cycles nearly ended -, then transfer in next cycle

@worldwidetravel2017no, didnt pgta test. It was my first ever ivf egg retrieval so I didnt really know enough or look into it and clinic didnt suggest I should either. We had pretty good number of 5day embryos (7blasts out of 10 fertilised) so if none if these stick, I will definitely pgta test on next egg retrieval.

Hi all. I'm up to my clinic next Thursday for a baseline scan. Have 6 untested embryos. I'm 43 in June too.

Aw good luck for your baseline ☺️ what medication did they put you on?? I’m waiting to start mine after a bleed it hopefully will come next week 🤞🤞

Ahhh sounds awful!! Why do you do a down reg?? If you don’t mind me asking? Do you have much longer on it or is it just until you bleed

Hi can I join please? Going to be (hopefully) doing my last FET this month as have been ttc #3 for 5 years. For #1 and #2 I needed clomid/Letrozole plus trigger shot and timed intercourse and it took 4 years for #1 and 2 yr1m #2. #3 seems it might be impossible . So far I’ve done 2 ivf cycles and had freeze all due to ohss risk and I’ve done 3 transfers (2 day 3 and one day 5) plus had 2 embryos (1 day 3 and 1 day 5) that didn’t survive the thaw and have 2 day 3 embryos left so we will be doing a double transfer in a natural cycle (possible with a trigger shot not sure yet). If that doesn’t work we are going to give up. Really nervous 😥

Hi all, nice to meet you all!

I’m having my first FET this Wednesday. 40 years old, got three untested embryos from my second egg collection after none reached blastocyst stage from first collection.

Had my monitoring scan on Wednesday. Lining needed to be at least 8 and was already measuring 8.8. I’m on four oestrogen tablets, three cyclogest pessaries, and one lubion injection a day.

Blood test is on Tuesday to check progesterone level and then transfer scheduled for Wednesday.

Because if your body needs extra progesterone - that apparently takes 36 hours to be absorbed..

My consultant told me that , blood test had to be am - 2 days b4 pm transfer..

The schedule from clinic had it as 1 day b4 transfer ' i pushed back
And said consultant said for it to be in am and 2 days b4..
Because that day - as soon as that am result is back - can then potentially go to clinic same day for ' extra ' progesterone

@worldwidetravel2017 our consultant never advised us to test the embryos and now the are frozen so we can't. I don't think I would anyways just leave it to god. What's meant for you won't pass you by

Anyone on Utrogestan instead of cyclogest? Ive always used cyclogest in previous transfers. This is my first time using utrogestan vaginally (400mg 3x a day), and i feel less symptoms than I did on Cyclogest. Hope Ive absorbed it well as I got my progesterone blood tests tomo and if levels ok then transfer will be 3rd June 🙏

@ItsAJourneyaww thanks hun. Thankfully test results came back ok and transfer will happen tomo! Progesterone level 69.3 nmol after 5 days on it. Although, last time when I was on Cyclogest same dosage my level was 65nmol after only 3 days. Anyway, just a thought, still excited 😆🤞 good luck with your transfer on Wednesday! 🙏✨✨

Hey all, hope I'm not too late to join! Looks like I will be having my first FET on the 18th June. Started progynova on Sunday and down to 0.2ml buserelin - that stuff is the devil!!!

For those of you that have been through a FET before, I am finding the Prognyova is giving me crippling tiredness - is this normal?? Struggling to function haha.

Do anybody know when you start meds during your period and how many days to transfer then?
