Why is sneezing after FET ok but exercise isn’t?

I sneezed a few times today (hay fever) at 1dp5dt and now panicking.
Why is sneezing ok but vigorous exercise and straining isn’t? We strain when we sneeze, right? So isn’t there a chance it could interfere with the embryo implanting?

Hi, I get that you’re anxious — the wait after FET is incredibly hard and it's easy to spiral over small things. But sneezing won’t harm implantation. The uterus is well-protected, and brief, involuntary actions like sneezing or coughing don’t affect whether an embryo will implant. Exercise guidance is usually more about avoiding overheating or injury, not small movements.

That said, I’ve noticed you tend to repeat the same kinds of posts under different usernames (prior to your FET it was about how many euploid embryos are needed to have a baby, extra testing you could do etc). This kind of repetition can overwhelm the forum, and often increases anxiety rather than easing it. We’re all here to support each other, and keeping the space thoughtful and focused helps everyone — including you.

Have you considered speaking with a counsellor about the anxiety you're feeling right now? It might also help to take a break from googling and posting, and just focus on resting and doing things that calm your mind. Staying relaxed is probably one of the best things you can do for yourself right now. Sending you good thoughts — I hope this cycle brings you good news.

Agree that counselling might be really helpful to help you alleviate stress. I have also noticed the same posts periodically put up under different usernames and also across other sites.

I wish you the best of luck but also peace! Sneezing will cause zero harm.

If sneezing could cause an embryo to not implant no one would ever get pregnant.
