I was just looking for a bit of hope really.
I'm 31 and my partner's 34. He has severe MFI. 2.9million per ML, 19% motility and 3% morph.
I also just found out I have low AMH of 2.6pmol. We have an IVF consultation soon and to be honest, I'm just not hopeful at all. We have 1 round through the NHS and then that's it, all over.

I would love to hear positive stories please or low AMH and how many eggs you have got through IVF.

After trying to conceive naturally for quite a while, we had some tests done and I found out last year that I had AMH of 3.2 at 31. We decided to try IVF; the first round was successful and I now have a happy and healthy little girl!
I would really recommend following the Zita West IVF diet and de-stressing with massages if possible. If nothing else following the diet took my mind off the IVF a bit and helped me focus on something…
Wishing you all the luck!

Thank you for your reply. This gives me so much hope! I'll take a look at the Zita West IVF diet and I'll also book some massages because I've been stressing and crying all day today and that's not like me. It's just getting a bit too much and im panicking about only getting 1 round.

It's unfortunate you only have one NHS round, I assume you must live in an unlucky postcode.

The post preparation parameters for your partner's sperm will be drastically better at the point of introduction to your eggs. Either via standard IVF if supplements and the lab's preparation (separating out and concentrating together all of the healthy progressively motile ones) improve things, or via ICSI (technician selection and injection of a morphologically normal progressively motile individual sperm).

You are 31 which means even if only a few eggs are retrieved you will have a decent chance of one being good quality and developing to euploid blastocyst.
