Fertility clinics BELFAST

Hello , just wondering if anyone has any recent experience with either TFP or IN OVO fertility clinics?

I'll be turning 40 this year , and currently have a son through ivf in 23 ( icsi used) from our nhs cycle at rfc. We had 7 eggs 4 eggs mature , 3 fertilsed but only two were suitable to transfer . Both were poor quality 5cb and 3cc but blessed it resulted in a pregnancy. He's our little miracle, 20 years praying for him. We got nothing to freeze so it's back to collection.
We made an enquiry with tfp about waiting times and they are ringing us every week now very eager for us to book in clearly. I've came across in ovo clinic and I've read they have advanced technology to monitor the embryos so don't disturb them in the dish which supposedly help success rates but I can't seem to find their success rates published online. Has anyone used them?
Their initial consultation fee is quite expensive at in ovo. It's over £1000. We've already had a hsg dye done late 2022. Would we really require doing so again?
Were hoping to book appointment this week as when we enquired with tfp the waiting list is about 1 month for consultation then 3 months would start treatment.

Can anyone share their experiences with either clinic?

Hi,

I did a round at in-ovo and couldn't rate them highly enough. I spoke to TFP and felt they were too "salesy" as well. The only thing to bear in mind is that in-ovo is a smaller clinic so it is quite regimented in terms of its protocol and ensuring everyone is at the same stage. This means the clinic lines everything up so that it can do all its egg collections one week and all its transfers etc another week. They also don't currently offer PGT-A testing if that's something you're looking for but I understand that they are applying for the licence to do so as their embryologists are trained to do it.

I chose it because it is the newest of the two clinics and has more advanced technology. I also read a bit about Dr Diakos on another forum and he was highly rated. Everyone is super lovely and are very responsive.

Edit: I was also concerned by the lack of success rates published but I was told it's because they are still quite new and didn't initially have the data to report. I definitely think they should have that up by now! Also, they do that scan by default but you should just say you've done it and maybe ask if you can bring your results? Although there's a high chance Dr Diakos will still want you to have it done by him. Always worth asking!

Let me know if you have any questions!

@BellaRosex thankyou so much.
Do you mind me asking what was the waiting list at in ovo like? With tfp from first appointment to start time it's 3 months currently and that's them saying they aren't really busy and there's plenty of availability.
Ah yes, the batching. Our nhs round was batched to sync with other ladies.
In that sense I do prefer tfp but I have read in ovo have more advanced technology which I'm hoping is a plus.
Did you have any success with your round ? Its so hard to choose , there's not alot of options around here is there.
Do you mind me asking , did you source your drugs from just your local pharmacy or did you order them online. I've seen alot of women and some clinics recommending fertility2U as it's cheaper
