I have two blocked/damaged tubes diagnosed by laparoscopy in 2022. Partner has some MFI.
After several months of tick box testing etc, I've been referred on by my GP to fertility.
However, my initial phone appointment is with community gynaecology for my London borough, rather than an IVF clinic. The consultant I'm seeing works at a hospital that doesn't even do IVF.
I have no idea whether this appointment means I'm making any progress or if it's just another tick box.
I was just wondering if anyone had been referred along the same route and knew what I could expect? It seems like most people on these threads are referred straight to the gyne department of a hospital that does IVF, or an IVF clinic.
