Hi. I know it's a tall ask but am looking for a clinic in Europe that would address all 3 above! Serum? Institute Bernabeau might do the 2nd two. I've heard people combine Bernabeau with UNQLife here. Hmm. Anyway, any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Hi @Weeseyannabox
Hope it's ok to jump on this too.
I'm changing clinics and looking at Institute Bernabeau, I completed an online form with FertilityClinicsAbroad.com and got a call from the clinic the next day. They sent an email with comprehensive info about the clinic and on my specific issues - Recurrent Implantation Failure (including Immunology treatment) and Male Factor. I'm 42. Impressed so far as they seem to use better tech and investigate thoroughly, organising a consultation for later in the month.

Hopefully someone can share their experience.

@DaisyTee hi, hope you don’t mind me commenting on an old post but was wondering if you found a solution to your recurrent implantation failure? I have this too and feel stuck on what to do next

Hi not at all @TSHconfusion.
So sorry you’re in this position.

So a Bit of story
We went with institute Bernabeu where they picked up fluid on my fallopian tube and endometriosis. After another failed round there (duostim/7 embryos - all aneuploid) I went for a Laproscopy to sort the fluid. Surgeon removed fluid, some endo and also 2 cysts he found on each ovary. To much surprise we got pregnant naturally, now currently 18 weeks. I can only put it down to the surgery.

I’m sorry that probably doesn’t help you much but I would suggest PGTA if you haven’t already done so. I’m assuming our previously untested transfers were aneuploid possibly due to the cysts. I would also highly recommend the clinic or going anywhere outside of UK. I feel they are more advanced and our care was exceptional.
I really hope you find some answers, wishing you best of luck xx

@DaisyTee thanks so much for your response and congrats on your pregnancy!!

did you have any symptoms of the cysts or endo before? I’ve had a hysteroscopy and obv scans during transfers I thought anything like that may be picked up then but I keep hearing of people who they weren’t picked up on!

DaisyTee · 05/09/2025 09:02

Ah thankyou, still can’t believe it at times!

zero symptoms of cysts, I did get some period pain but nothing that would make me think I had endometriosis. If I hadn’t had fluid on tube I doubt the cysts would ever have been found. I also had a hysteroscopy about 2 years ago and nothing was found. I think a Laparoscopy is the only way to see properly what’s going on but it’s a lot to go through for something that’s just exploratory.

Hi! As a starting point, Fertility Clinics Abroad can be a great resource. They list top clinics across Europe in an easy-to-compare format. I’ve used their site a couple of times myself—it made comparing clinics really straightforward.

TSHconfusion · 05/09/2025 16:51

@DaisyTee that’s crazy that you had no symptoms at all. My fear is that there is something there they’re just not looking for! How did your clinic pick up the fluid in your tube before you had the laproscopy please?

DaisyTee · 05/09/2025 17:20

It showed up in the baseline scan so clinic advised I could start ivf treatment and get the fluid sorted after egg collections but before any transfers as all embryos would be frozen anyway for PGTA.

they couldn’t tell me where fluid came from though so I’ve no idea if it hadn’t been picked up during previous rounds or was a result of previous rounds.

TSHconfusion · 05/09/2025 19:08

@DaisyTee yes I did ask my consultant about it before and he basically said it would have been seen on the ultrasounds but I just wonder could there be something there that was missed and need an HSG or hycosy. It’s frustrating the not knowing what to focus the testing on, I might see if I am eligible for one of them through NHS as I was able to have my hysteroscopy through NHS
