HyCoSy after ectopic - any experiences?

We’ve had two miscarriages in less than a year. Very different types of miscarriages which I’m not sure is a good or a bad thing in terms of future success.

Last miscarriage was a suspected ectopic, officially a pregnancy of unknown location. I’ve had two previous pregnancies in uterine (one a successful pregnancy and the other a miscarriage), so I’m hoping this would mean at least one of my tubes are okay. However I’m quite worried that there is some damage somewhere that could’ve caused the ectopic, as both my previous pregnancies involved surgery and several procedures.

It’s been such an ordeal to resolve the ectopic (and my previous miscarriage too as it was at 12 weeks), that I just want to check everything possible before trying again (depending on what the tests come back with).

This brings me to a HyCoSy, has anyone had one after one ectopic? I know it can’t 100% confirm all is well but I was hoping it could provide some probability either way.

Any feedback/tips/info whatsoever re general initial fertility investigations would be greatly appreciated as feeling totally out of my depth.

I had a Hycosy after not falling pregnant for about 8-9 months after a ruptured ectopic - I fell pregnant accidentally so was surprised I'm just not getting pregnant now. I also have a 2yo who was conceived in 5/6 cycles.

The Hycosy itself was fine, was a bit uncomfortable was they put in the catheter for the dye, but it wasn't any worse than a smear test.

In my case my remaining tube was open, however another 4 cycles down the line I'm still not pregnant. We're moving to IVF in a few months as I also have some large cysts on the side of my tube and we think it's just not picking up from the opposite ovary.
