What's most people's attitude towards covid during fertility treatment now?

I know back when covid was big most people were delaying their treatment if they caught it and clinics were very strict on this.

I've just found out I've been near somebody who has now got covid and I am just about to start treatment for a FET.

I'm interested to get thoughts from others as I don't know anyone else in real life having treatment. Do you think most people are not even testing and just getting on with treatment? As I don't know many people who test for it now, I guess people just assume they have a cold?

I just wondered what people's thoughts were. I don't want to go down a rabbit hole of testing to check I haven't caught it because I'm also trying to remain stress free.

I also just read this which is interesting

academic.oup.com/humrep/article-abstract/39/6/1239/7644328?redirectedFrom=fulltext

'There is no evidence that SARS-CoV-2 infection of women during the FET cycle negatively affects embryo implantation and pregnancy rates.'

I guess as covid has been around for a long time now they are getting a better idea of it's effects on IVF.

I got covid on day 2 of stims in my recent IVF round, carried on as normal just rested for a few days as I would with cold. Felt better in time for my next scan. Transfer went ahead and currently 6 weeks pregnant.

My clinic says you can't catch Covid within 7 weeks of treatment or it will be cancelled, and we were made to sign a form to say we agree to this.

Neither me or husband have caught it so far but it does seem like quite an overreaction. If we do go ahead with it it'll be in the autumn when cases will be on the rise and I'm stressed about it already.

Myself and my husband tested positive last week the day before we were going to start stims! Our clinic advised we cancel as if I remained ill for scans/egg collection they wouldn't want me in the clinic with risk of spreading it. They've put our cycle back a month. They said limited evidence on the effects from COVID, can potentially effect sperm count but as my husband's was good they weren't concerned and advised we didn't need to wait any longer.
We discussed lots of people will have had COVID and not tested and gone ahead with IVF successfully so hopefully won't effect our chances too much! We couldn't bare waiting another 3-6months!

If you're having stims they ask you 3 months wait and 6 weeks for sperm.

However, for FET they may be more lenient since the embryo is ready.
