Can’t seem to start stims - 8 cancellations

Anyone else have issues starting stims ? I can’t seem to get to day 1

I am having a general so scheduling is already tight with availability

tried northeristorone was in too much pain to continue
provera tried multiple times
in agony but I can get through the course
not always bleeding in time
again strict schedule due to the limited surgery dates

finding provera super painful but said I would try it one last time

after 18 months I’m feeling frustrated and now had to have bloods redone multiple times as they only hold 12 weeks

any ideas or advice ? Really unsure if I just have bad luck or should try another clinic maybe with more surgical capacity

thanks in advance

So sorry to hear about your struggle. I don't have comparable experience but didn't want to read and not respond.

Is there any particular reason why you have to have GA? Sedation is perfectly fine for most people and would give you more flexibility. Also, if medication is giving you pain, you could try starting with natural period, if yours are regular.

I would also explore other clinics if yours is unable to provide any solutions after eight cancellations, this isn't normal.

its due to endo , one ovary isn’t visible/ tethered .. they will attempt to reach it under general , they won’t risk it with sedation

due to generals being so limited and having to book them 6-7 weeks in advance they can’t lead with a natural cycle

they’ve Suppressed my cycle for so long now anyway it’s all over the place!

thank you for replying … I’ve been thinking I need to change but I’ve paid so much and got 3k of meds . Need to workout if I can afford to switch

thanks so much xx

I assume you’ve ruled out surgery to first deal with the tethered ovary? Or going ahead with just the other one?

I had to have endo surgery first to be able to access my ovaries, which obviously lowered my ovarian reserve, but at least meant I could get some eggs out.

Had a laparoscopy fairly recently yup
they won’t attempt sedation at all with bmi and endo unfortunately

I’ve already spent so much it’s incredibly frustrating
