IVF and house move😬

Hoping for advice from others who've been through IVF. We had to postpone our first planned FET last month due to illness. We wanted to try again this month and I am on day 6 of the meds, due FET in a few weeks' time. It suddenly looks as if our long awaited house move may happen towards the end of the 2WW... Should we try to push the move back another week or two, or will it be ok if I try to be super organised and avoid getting stressed etc? Currently decluttering obsessively. The move is nearby, we will be fortunate to have a company doing the packing/moving and I will have a week off work afterwards to get sorted (a bit!) It's our first embryo transfer and I would be very grateful for advice. I want to go ahead but am now worrying it might be foolish with other things going on... Thanks so much.

I am in this exact same position. Just started stims and due to move at the end of the month 😬 no advice except to say I'm here in solidarity!

@itsmschanandlerbong Life happens doesn't it! I am trying to take the view that it's good to have a distraction😁

I think it depends on you as an individual. How stressful do you think its going to be ? If you think your stress levels will be massively impacted then I personally would push it back a week.
I got pregnant with my miracle baby last year and was in the process of moving home. The stress overwhelmed me. I don't know if that contributed to my loss but I'm sure it didn't help . I would transfer after the move if it were me as I'd want to be as relaxed as possible during the implantation stage

It really is a personal decision.
In terms of the science, there is nothing that you do, physically, that can affect the implantation. My clinic recommended getting on with life as normal sttraight after the transfer, including work, exercise and even sex life.

But it is your decision. You are the only one who knows how it will affect you, the house move. Medically, theres no reason to postpone, but this isnt just a medical decision!

@MoonlightDreamer so sorry for your loss and thank you very much for sharing your experience. There is a lot to think about - will reflect on it and discuss with DH today. I hope you're getting settled in your new home and that you have really good news soon on the baby front x
