Low progesterone can go ahead with fresh transfer?

Just got an email from the nurse saying my progesterone level was low, so I Can go ahead with fresh transfer.
but google says "Progesterone matures the uterine lining and makes it receptive to an embryo to implant".
I'm wondering if the nurse made a typo of can't to be can.

@maygodbless hi - hope you are ok- i would ring your clinic and check as I thought progressing needed to be high for a transfer- which is why they make you take the progrestrone suppositories.

I'm sure your clinic will prescribe progesterone as part of your plan, I've had it on every one of my transfers whether it be fresh or frozen.

I'm sure my progesterone started 5 days before my transfer each time. If unsure ask them to clarify if this is part of their process.

Good luck.

@LF82 Thank you dear. I'm currently at work not quite convenient to call them. Yes, I was prescribed the progesterone suppositories, and I was asked to start using it on the day just after the transfer.
@SH998 You are right. I talked to the doctor that I would prefer freezing the embryo if I have and continuing to back-to-back retrieval. She said if the quality of the embryo is good to bank they would, otherwise will do a fresh transfer on day 5.

I only have 1 leading egg to collect. The others were still tiny in yesterday's scan. Got up at 1 am this morning to stab the triggers, and my egg collection will be tomorrow 12 pm! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

@SH998 How do you find the pessaries? This was the worst for me in my previous cycles. After a couple of weeks of using it, I was so stuffy with those wax down there, I could even feel the tube bending weirdly. 😥

@maygodbless to be fair I find them OK now, at first I was inserting them vaginally which was tough, due to the excess I just didn't like it, also I just didn't have the time in the mornings to lay around for 20 minutes for them to absorb better. I felt there was more leaking than absorbing. Within a few days I changed method and started using rectally and now completely fine. Sounds gross but works better for me :)

The last few days they do seem to have a little boost so hopefully they will be suitable size for you. Is it your first collection? If your transfer goes ahead they should advise you to start taking progestogen tomorrow in readiness for your transfer.

Good luck :)

@SH998 Thank you for reminding me we can use it rectally! I think the problem with vaginal insertion is the residue/wax stuck inside and no natural way to put it out like the rectum (which opens daily 😅😅😅).
