Advice on coming up to a year TTC

Hoping to get advice & experience, as I have got to the point where TTC is feeling quite difficult and I would appreciate advice on next steps.

My husband and I have been TTC since late last summer. We were both 34 when we started and now 35. We had a positive pregnancy test in October with a missed miscarriage in early January at just under 11 weeks. We started TTC again immediately, with no further positives, until a chemical pregnancy this month.

Cycles are regular, have started using clear blue digital tests over last couple of months and take pre-pregnancy vitamins. Healthy diet, could do with losing a small amount of weight, which we are working on, but nothing too major. We are going to give it a few more months but as we’ll be soon reaching a year plus of TTC, I think it would help me to plan next steps -would really appreciate advice on where to go from here/what to prioritise. Thank you xx

If you can afford it, I would suggest going to a private clinic for some basic tests. You should get a hycosy to check you have no blockages in your tubes. The reason why I suggest private is because time matters in fertility and you don't want to be messing around on waiting lists.

@MaySP09 i second @Ladysquamy in that dont leave anything u do too late. Its a difficult one as youve had 2 miscarriages so wont quality for NHS help on testing nor likely for IVF either. So if you can afford it go for some private testing at a miscarriage clinic for both of you, not just you, get your husbands sperm checked too and go from there. You dont seem to have too much trouble falling pregnant so its up to you if u want to keep trying naturally and risk a 3rd or do some tests first. I had private testing after my 2nd and went on to have a 3rd anyway. NHS wasnt able to offer me much at that point as i had already done most tests but ordinarily they should test u after 3. Good luck
