So hard to choose an IVF clinic when time is not on your side - I am in London

Can you please share what made you choose your current clinic?
The online reviews for each of them are mixed for each clinic I researched - Google, Mumsnet, Reddit ...

Due to my age (43) I feel that time is running out, and I want to start Stim asap. I did one round of egg collection when I was 36/37, but things seemed have changed so much, and I am not entirely sure about my current clinic as they failed to make some crucial suggestions and were super fixated on statics.

Thank you so much and wish everyone luck.

Hello there, I am sorry to hear about your experience. When conducting research for potential clinics, it is important to ask the right questions. Specifically, you should inquire about their experience in treating patients of your age and with similar issues to yours. Additionally, it is important to ask about success rates for your age group, estimated treatment duration, and associated costs. By gathering this information, you will be able to make an informed comparison between different clinics. I adopted the questions from this article which I found very helpful. Best of luck in your search!

Thank you so much for the support. I want to start ASAP but also don't want to make a mistake.

I attended clinic open evenings and joined facebook groups of the clinics that I was interested in.
Secondly, do consider that CRGH and ARGC are very expensive, and with CRGH, their initial quote is often much lower than the final figure that you might end up paying. To counteract this, look up Access fertility, this can provide a number of cycles with a chosen clinic for a fixed fee or a 'money back if no pregnancy' option, the latter depends on age.

Good luck.

I am turning 43 in 2 months and starting my IVF journyey. I have a very low AMH and my husband has low sperm count hence we were advised ICSI as well. We first had a consultation with ARGC but the doctor we saw did not seem he know what he is talking about. He is just showing us a PPT presentation. They are also very expensive. After some research I found Access Fertility and throught them I found Lister Fertility Clinic. We had a consultation with them and right after that we felt that this is the right clinic and we started with them.

With access fertility they do not offer refund if you are above 40/41. But in the Lister Fertility website there is another provider called Assured Fertility. They have the same price as Access but they offer a refund if there is live birth after 1 or 2 cycles (for 3 cycle package). Good luck to all of us in the IVF journey!
