The wait between failed fresh transfer to frozen

Hey, I have recently just discovered that my fresh transfer has not worked and i'm wondering what wait times I should expect before being able to start my frozen transfer cycle. Anyone doing NHS rounds how long was your wait between failed fresh to being able to start your frozen round? Any help would be great thanks

Heya, I'm not NHS but my clinic doesn't NHS patients, and I think it depends on the clinic but they usually want at least one true period between the cycles. I had stims and egg collection in August, had a period after embryo didn't implant at a few days earlier than my leriod was actually due, then had to have another period between, which can be later due to all the drugs but thankfully mine was one one day late. So from going from bank hol Monday egg collection in August to just having my second transfer on 27th Oct it's just shy of 2 months between fkr me, snd I think that's the earliest, some clinics prefer two cycles.

I would expect for it to vary vastly depending on the clinic and how busy they are. I had my fresh transfer early June and the subsequent frozen transfer early October. In between the two transfers we had around a month's wait to get a follow up appointment to discuss FET and get a prescription, after that it was a case of waiting till day 1 of my next period (which by then was another cycle away), and they didn't have a transfer spot for me on the next available cycle, so I had to wait another month. My clinic's labs are closed all of December, so next transfer will likely be January, if they have a spot for me.

I am NHS, my clinic has said that it has to be one cycle in between transfers.

So - you have your fresh transfer, it fails, you get a period say ten days later. Then you have to have a full cycle off - i.e. you ovulate, then have your period, and then you can do your FET in the following cycle. That's what I've been told and that's what I'm hoping for!

Yes - PP makes a good point that labs will close for a few weeks in December to do a deep clean so you would have to factor that in. My clinic has a cut off date at which no further cycles can begin, until late December.
