Immune protocol?

Hi ladies, I'm looking for some advice / shared experience. I've had 2 failed own egg transfers, and 1 failed donor egg transfer. Never had a hint of a pregnancy in 3 years TTC, low ovarian reserve but otherwise unexplained. I have psoriasis which is an autoimmune condition, although it's been pretty mild for the last four years or so. I am wondering if I should try the immune protocol for our next transfer. My doctor says he doesn't think we need it, that there's no evidence that it makes a difference, and that although we've had 3 failed transfers the first two can be explained by poor egg quality (I was 39 for my own egg treatment, now 40 almost 41). He has said that we can have it if we really want it though. I think some clinics do it for everyone regardless of whether there's any evidence they need it, so I'm wondering, is there any harm in trying it? If you've had it, do you think it made a difference? Were there any side effects / disadvantages to trying it? Is it just the addition of prednisolone, or does it include anything else? Any advice would be gratefully received :)

I'm on an immune protocol after 2 losses. I'm on steroids, intralipids, clexane, aspirin.
I just transfered on Friday so can't offer any incite as to whether it works or not but it's no harm in giving the steroids a try.

The steroids have given me pretty bad insomnia and water retention.

@Conundrum12345 thank you so much for replying. I think I need to look up all those medications as my doctor only mentioned steroids. Wishing you loads of luck with your cycle, I really hope this one works out for you x
