@Gardenlady543

Hi. Hope your period arrives soon so you can make progress with the next stage.

@Janefx40

I had a scan today (cd13) and lining was 13mm. Hoping that is not too thick. I was told not to take meriofert today. I’m worried I won’t be on lentogest. I think I will check progesterone regularly as you did as I’ll be on lubion which is not as strong.

Just letting others know that a stimulated FET cycle is good for making lining thick.

greendress789 · 24/09/2022 22:52

@Janefx40 glad your scan went well and echoing the previous poster about how wonderful and kind you always are to everyone ❤️

thislittlebird · 24/09/2022 23:58

@Janefx40 I’ve done the same thing. Mine are usually the day before or the first day of my period, but they’ve come at all sorts of times around my period on occasion. Including a phase of coming on the last day when I had a personal trainer before our wedding 🤨. I agree, hormones are complex and confusing. I think for me it’s when my hormones fall of a cliff, but who knows for sure.

I hate testing so much. Equally I hate that my body won’t let me even do a test. So my test day is 29th and I’ll be shocked if I get that far. I just had a tiny bit of brownish tinge in cm so now I’m convinced my period is coming, it’s due on Monday and obviously it’s now nearly Sunday so some spotting wouldn’t be out of the question. This is so hard. I guess I’ll see what the morning brings :/

thislittlebird · 25/09/2022 00:38

I’m wondering if I should take extra Cyclogest? I’m on three per day. Not sure two at once would be advised.

Janefx40 · 25/09/2022 06:58

@thislittlebird I just saw your message. Yes absolutely take an extra cyclogest. I've taken two at once in past cycles. Also are you taking them rectally? They absorb better and you are less likely to get spotting from irritation. Ideally you won't bleed even if it hasn't worked out xxx

thislittlebird · 25/09/2022 07:16

@Janefx40 thanks, good to know! Yeah I am taking them rectally. Took one before I attempted sleep, just took another one. So far this morning no more brown cm when I went to the loo, but now I’m nervous. What a crap process.

Janefx40 · 25/09/2022 07:32

@thislittlebird remember I only tested when I did on this cycle because I was bleeding! It looked like the start of full flow. I'm not trying to give you false hope but maybe a little hope will help to get you to 29th x

thislittlebird · 25/09/2022 07:35

@Janefx40I forgot that. I want to hope but hope is also scary af. It’s very much one day at a time, will see if I can get through 7dpt still sane and migraine/period free 😬

OrangeBengal · 25/09/2022 10:49

Hey @thislittlebird my pessaries are 200mg, so I need two each time, the nurse told me to just leave 15mins in between insertions

thislittlebird · 25/09/2022 11:11

@OrangeBengal good to know, thank you! I'm not sure what mg mine are, I'll have to check them out.

birdbybird · 25/09/2022 11:41

@Gardenlady543It said in a pre appointment that you can’t be pregnant when you see
Dr Shehata. But when I saw him he said a chance of something like 2 days pregnant didn’t matter. Not that I am pregnant, it’s just we didn’t stop ttc this month.

@Janefx40the appointment was ok. Did all the blood tests he suggested. Now waiting 1.5 weeks for the appointment. He also was not sure what my chances were as although he said he has a success rate of 80-85% with recurrent miscarriages…in my case I don’t get pregnant easily and had no euploids in the first cycle…. So I’m not very hopeful.

2021ivfagain · 25/09/2022 12:17

@Janefx40

Hi. Did you go into the clinic 2 days after the trigger to check ovulation? I’ve read that the natural modified FET cycle is all about timing. I didn’t do ERA but read it’s not as important for this type of frozen cycle. I’ve not had lots of blood tests, but did some yesterday. What bloods did you ask to test?

Janefx40 · 25/09/2022 21:20

@2021ivfagain I know this may sound hypocritical as I did add various bits to my own protocol but I think it's important to trust the clinic and your consultant. They know what they are doing and they will keep you informed far better than I can.

Yes they bring you in 2 days post trigger to confirm ovulation. The trigger times the ovulation so the precision is sorted by that. They would have done your LH and oestrogen which is what they did for me except that they did mine daily not just around trigger. Sounds like you are close. Best of luck x

seven201 · 26/09/2022 10:58

@thislittlebird good luck for transfer today!

@Janefx40 so please your scan went well.

@2021ivfagain oh wow, that is a good Lining!

thislittlebird · 26/09/2022 11:43

Thanks, I’m post transfer now @seven201

It’s 8dp5dt and no migraine yet, no AF yet. I’m bricking it at the idea of testing later this week if AF doesn’t come.

seven201 · 26/09/2022 11:47

@thislittlebird oh sorry, I must have got confused with the 8 day migraine thing unless there's someone else having a transfer today. I really do struggle to keep up on here 🙈.

I'm really pleased there's not been a migraine for you yet! When is official test day?

thislittlebird · 26/09/2022 12:37

@seven201 could be someone else, I've lost track too. OTD is Thursday, I'm probably feeling too chipper right now because there's no AF or migraine yet. You can't help but hope only to get shot down when the BFN hits 😑

Janefx40 · 26/09/2022 16:27

@thislittlebird that is great news about the migraine!!! Fingers crossed. Thursday is a big day on this thread.

@seven201 it's a Thursday transfer day for @MyEasterEggs x

birdbybird · 26/09/2022 16:37

@Janefx40 could I ask what your amh was and how many eggs you got per cycle?
I'm wondering whether to stick with Create for my next two cycles or go somewhere like ARGC/CRGH. I got 6 eggs and they all fertilised, but I keep hearing inconsistent things about number of eggs... e.g. Mr Shehata thought it was a good number, but some people many more eggs so I'm wondering if its the drugs.

MyEasterEggs · 26/09/2022 17:16

Hi ladies, asked this on another thread but I’m thinking some of you will have been through this. I had my bloods done today and my progesterone is at 34, and the clinic wants it at 100 by Thursday, so I’ve to take cyclogest twice a day first dose starting tonight. Just waiting on it to be couriered over. My next blood test will be Wednesday at 10 then they’ll decide if we can go ahead with transfer. Can my levels rise that much by then? The clinic told me not to worry but naturally I’m now feeling a little anxious…

Janefx40 · 26/09/2022 18:05

@MyEasterEggs I'm no expert of progesterone levels pre transfer but yes there is time for it to rise. I don't think mine was measured before transfer day to be honest so I wouldn't have had that level. Also bear in mind that the levels asked for IVF transfers are way higher than in natural pregnancies anyway so there is a buffer. But if they are checking on Thursday then they are being thorough which is great.

@birdbybird glad your Mr Shehata appointment was ok. Fingers crossed for results. At age 41 my AMH was 13 and I got 14 eggs on cycle 1 and 8 on cycle 2. At 43/44 it was 4 (I didn't retest) and I got 6,6,12 and 6. Personally I think AFC is a better guide although this can vary a little month to month. I've been at both ARGC and CRGH as well as Guys. Happy to talk about them if you want to DM me x

MyEasterEggs · 26/09/2022 18:08

@Janefx40 I’m at TDL for bloods on Wednesday so my hope is that, if they’re not yet at 100, then the transfer might just be delayed slightly rather than cancelled. I was just a bit taken aback as progesterone has never been a challenge for me. I don’t know much about it tbh but the pessaries are progesterone powerhouses so 🤞🏻

Hopeful199 · 26/09/2022 21:14

Oh god…… it’s been such a rollercoaster of an evening 😫

my OTD is tomorrow (I am currently 10dp5dt) but wanted to test tonight so I could get my head round it all before the morning. Bought a cheap one from the supermarket and got a vvv feint squinter. Thought it was negative but was sure I could see ‘something’….. I knew I wouldn’t rest so I went back to the shop for a digital and it came up with a BFP! So happy I cried!!

However 2 hours later I went for a wee and now have pink blood when I wipe….. now I’m convinced it is a chemical and totally beside myself. Why is the universe so cruel?!?! I really thought this was finally it! 😢

it is my final emby from that batch….. so annoyed at myself for getting so carried away so quickly. I should know better!!!!!

seven201 · 26/09/2022 22:35

@MyEasterEggs my clinic don't do any progesterone tests. It's so weird how clinics do things so differently! I hope your levels get up to 100.

@Hopeful199 oh gosh, that is a rollercoaster. As you know, bleeding doesn't always equal bad. It does always equal worry though! If you're doing any progesterone vaginally, switch to rectally I reckon. I hope you manage some sleep tonight.

I forgot to say thank you to those who gave advice on the hysteroscopy. Very reassuring. I've bought a trashy magazine to read in the spa, since I can't go in the pool.

Janefx40 · 26/09/2022 22:38

@Hopeful199 it's so tough but you have a BFP so that is great news. I had blood when I tested too and all was fine. There's a lot going on in there. I know it is torture but only time will tell and you're not out yet. I have everything crossed for you xxx
