8DP5DT and did a *few* tests... BFP or trigger?

My OTD is Tuesday but I have zero chill, and tested yesterday (7dp5dt) fully expecting there to be no line so I could get on with my day, but there was a faint line (Top Clearblue test in photo)! I then used one of the test strips (One Step) straight after, and got a vvvvv.faint line which you probably can't see.

The second Clearblue and the FRER are from this morning (8DP5DT). And the bottom 2 strips are this AM and PM respectively, but one is a different brand (Mom med) so don't know if you can it as a line progession?

There doesn't seem to be any progression from yesterday and I'm also worried in case the trigger is still in my system? I had 10,000 IU 15 days ago. I thought it stayed in your system a maximum of 14 days but read 17 days somewhere!!

Any thoughts appreciated. Sorry if I sound like an idiot I'm just shocked to see a second line...

@thatismahogany I had a FET instead of fresh and I didn’t have trigger , but I tested positive from 5dpt xx I am now 8dpt5dt xx

@ShareLove hello friend congratulations! For some reason I find it much easier to believe when it's somebody else?! But yes I think they do look quite similar don't they?

How have you been feeling? I've been having weird twinges that I thought could be AF, and also a bit of nausea, but I also feel a bit queasy leading up to AF so doesn't mean much lol xx

Good line progession! I think I'd feel better if the test strips I was using weren't so faint the strongest I got on those was yesterday afternoon, then it was almost invisible again this morning. I may have to stick to FRERs and see if I can leave a day between testing...

@thatismahogany ohh this is a nightmare !!! The testing ! I am panicking that my 5dpt and 8dpt look so similar and not darkening , I am crazy !! I am so scared of chemical pregnancy ! I am using easy@home strips they quite good and frer xx I hope yours get darker soon , i am praying that mine gets darker too as my frer looks the same at 5-8 dpt it’s so stressful isn’t it arghhh ! I’m checking every day now xx

I also had have like period cramps and twinges , for a week now , it comes and goes , and nausea feeling but not very strong , also off my food , no appetite . Xxx

I'm sure I can see a difference between each of your test strips and each of the FRER. Definitely a stressful time. I keep telling myself I'll feel better once it's confirmed with the clinic's test (still one you do at home, not a blood test) but then I'll just be waiting for the first scan Does your clinic bring you in for a blood test?

@thatismahogany I hope you can see it because rim stressed out , and I am not sure about bloods , maybe only if it’s positive then they will bring you in for bloods but I know when it’s negative home test then they won’t bring you in xx my original test day is on the 23rd March , when is yours ? Xx

@ShareLove I apologise I thought I'd replied to you! My OTD is the 22nd, so tomorrow! Not holding out much hope though, my lines have had zero progression photo is top to bottom 8DP5DT to 12DP5DT

Hey, in case it helps, FRERs darken over time. You really need to compare pics of each test taken at the same time (e.g ten minutes after using them) for an accurate comparison.

Hi @Rosemarypots thanks for your reply. I've just tried to compare my photos from each day, which all have the most recent test at the bottom but I still don't see a progression I'm afraid. Day 2 to 3 is lighter if anything but I'm not 100% each photo was taken at the exact same time after each test either...

Kind of dreading tomorrow, not sure if my clinic will just fob off my concerns because I imagine I'll get a second line tomorrow, however faint. Or if they'll acknowledge the lines are too light and it will be game over

I really hope it works out for you. Tracking line progression is a killer. I actually manage all other aspects of IVF ok, but I find the two week wait horrendous. I've had three failed transfers including two chemicals, so I do know how you feel. But to be honest, at this stage you can't get really know how it will go. Your tests don't seem to be getting lighter, which is a hopeful sign. Will your clinic do an hCG test for you? Then you'll most likely know either way.

@thatismahogany ohhh im soo sorry that yo it lines haven’t got much darker but I do think that they haven’t faded away though ? The last one look bit darker than the one before that ?
I am also panicking here as my lines also not progressing much ! It’s such a nightmare ! I know exactly how you feel ! I’m so scared of chemical pregnancy ! I’ll post my picture , tell ‘em what you think ? Xx

Sorry about the yellow test windows it’s the vitamin B complex that make your wee so yellow haha

Have you done any internet cheapies tests ? I also use easy@home strip tests ! I can show you the progress on there too ? Xx

I am so scared of testing every day knowing that my test might be lighter and it ruins my full day until the next morning I can test again !

@thatismahogany also, I have ordered home pregnancy blood test from medichecks so I’ll check my own hcg levels before my appoitment at doctors just to see where my numbers are at ! I think I’ll buy one more after the first one to see if they double or not xx

@Rosemarypots I wish I'd never heard of line progression! And I'm so sorry to hear you've had a difficult time of it. My clinic just offers a scan in a few weeks if the test is positive. But they don't do bloods as standard, but maybe they will if I ask.
