High FSH Low AMH ... HELP!

Hi

Hoping someone can help.

We have a beautiful two year old daughter already.

However, we were told yesterday that my second fsh test showed higher levels than last month but also my amh result was so low, 0.8, that it would be egg donor only, if we wanted to conceive a second. I also have a small uterine polyp which hopefully will still be removed. Obviously it’s all very upsetting, I’m 36 due to be 37 in a few months.

As a side note I also suffer with hormonal epilepsy (controlled by medication)

My question is, has anyone had any success stories with these type of low numbers? The nurse just sounded very grave and said there wouldn’t be much of a chance! Am I clutching at straws? I’m hoping once the polyp is removed it may give us some hope?

Also are there any hormone balance/egg quality supplements, tips etc I should look at?

Thank you 😊

Hiii

Sorry I've not replied, nothing new really, just enjoying my beautiful daughter so have been off social media for a bit.

We're not trying so much anymore, but to be honest I've not had many signs That I'm ovulating, I've been taking OPK tests and nothing is showing up. So we are taking this as an indication that I've not been ovulating so we've just been having fun and not worrying about it.

I am taking some vitamins, coQ 10, folic acid and a multivitamin. My diet has also changed for the better and I've lost some weight although I was only a size 12 Confused

I'm hoping by the end of the year I can have my hysteroscopy, I'm not sure how I could chase this up? I'm going to start with the opks properly next month onwards and hopefully I will be ovulating, it only takes one egg!! Wink

Hope everyone is good Smile

Hi. I know this is not a recent post but I’m wondering how you are getting on with fsh levels. I had my cd2 result last month and fsh was 24 and I did estrogen priming but do not know how much I absorbed due to taking supplement which could’ve interacted. However, I’m struggling so much. My last cycle was cancelled and now I’m panicking about getting retested again.

I’ve reintroduced dhea 25mg x2, omega 3 x4, ubiquinol 200mgx3, was taking wheatgrass 30g a day but stopped when started zumenon. I’m worried as I have 9 day 3 embryos but I have an infection. I’m 41 now TTC second due to age, mfi and now my high fsh.

I’ve also recently noticed vaginal dryness. Sorry if tmi.

My consultant has advised doing a modified natural FET to transfer frozen embryos without any estrogen. My problem is without some estrogen I’m not doing so well.

The problem is if I do medicated I have to do an era and there is a chance of an infection. I’m already trying to get over another infection.
