Sorry just to give some context, mmc after top graded embryo transferred and also failed fet with the same graded embryo.
Doctor ordered blood tests level 1 as he has concerns I have clotting issues. Does anyone have any experience and what these results mean? All the others came back normal, thrombo, thyroid antibodies etc

These tests are related to a clotting disorder named antiphospholipid syndrome. The results seem negative to me so I suppose you don't have any issue related to APS.

Do you know why the doctors have said these two tests have come back abnormal if they appear negative ? And also why I need a test for lupus anticoagulant ? Thanks

Yes, sorry they are abnormal indeed. My mistake I couldn't see it properly. Lupus anticoagulant is testes as part of diagnosing APS. I think it is better to talk you doctor so that he can explain further. If it's a clotting issue, usually aspirin and/or heparine is prescribed.

Oh okay. Thank you so much for helping me I looked at it and was just confused lol means nothing to me !
Is it a bad thing to have ?? I mean is it going to cause issues other than risk of miscarriage ?

I have thromophilia, not APS. For both transfer I took aspirin after transfer. They both failed (one a CP and one a BFN), but I am sure the clotting wasn't the cause. They will probably prescribe the same or add clexane. I honestly don"t worry too much about it. I wouldn't even have discovered it if it hadn't been for the TTC&IVF journey. As fair as I know most women with clotting issues are prescribed clexane during pregnancy to reduce the risk of miscarriage. I am sure your doctors will shed some more light on this.
Hugs! 🍀

Thank you for the info.
It's all abit of a shock as we've gone from not being able to get pregnant, to a miscarriage and now this. I guess at least somethings been discovered though that can be treated.
I'm really sorry about your failed cycles. It feels like such a waste doesn't it but hopefully we will both get there one day 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yes, I know..this journey is full of ups and downs and the pain and grief of loss or the "what if"s are unbearable. What helped me was to take it step by step and not panic about everything. I reallt really we will get our miracles! 🍀 🙏 💗

That's it, I keep seeing them as hurdles to get over and hoping it's the last one. Each time getting closer 💓
