@StillTrying10000 oooooooo have everything crossed that this is your time.

@VenusStarr do you feel ok about your period coming. It's scary but it will feel ok once you get going. You're not transferring until May tho right?

I finally remembered to take my Humira. Ouch!

I'm OK @Janefx40 feel like my uterus has been grumbling for a week! 😂 It'll be about 8 weeks I think for transfer, I think I've just gone into that panicky headspace.

Glad you've done your injection, sorry it was a painful one! 🤞 This is what you need. When will you be looking to transfer? Xx

seven201 · 24/03/2022 22:24

Hi all. Oh wow @StillTrying10000 I was thinking about you earlier today wondering when your test day is. I hope your little embryo is getting nice and comfy.

@VenusStarr I hope your period isn't too bad! Sorry you're feeling terrified. Understandable though. Yes, one more injection in 2 weeks for me. I'm lucky as he said he doesn't need to re-test me. @Janefx40 well done for doing yours.

Janefx40 · 24/03/2022 22:26

@VenusStarr my transfer will be mid May at the earliest. I have to wait 2 weeks for next injection then 2 weeks to test then 2 weeks for results!!! Then we can start if they're ok but if not, more treatment! Finding the waiting really hard now x

And just like that the test is blank again today. As soon as the embryo implants, I get swollen glands and sore throat and feel my body fighting it off. So effectively now I only get a positive test for 24 hours. No idea what to do.
I know Dr S said try Humeria even though I don't have TNF. What days of your cycle do you take that? If I take it this month should I be able to transfer again next month? xx

seven201 · 25/03/2022 06:45

@StillTrying10000 oh gosh. I'm sorry. Keep taking the meds just in case as it is early. I think if you took it soon then you probably could try next month, but I'm not definite.

Janefx40 · 25/03/2022 06:52

@StillTrying10000 oh I'm so sorry. Oh this is all so unfair! Sending lots of hugs

I'm not sure about next month because it sounds like your circumstances are different to mine. For me Humira is a 6 weeks process but if you don't have to re-test then just 2 weeks (once you get hold of it).

Oh @StillTrying10000 I'm so sorry ❤️ this is really cruel. Sending you a big hug. I agree with @seven201 to keep taking the meds xx

StillTrying10000 · 25/03/2022 08:06

@VenusStarr @Janefx40 @seven201 thank you. Yes will keep taking the drugs until OTD on Wednesday and I'll keep testing. Gosh it's so painful, it's a year ago this weekend I gave birth and I just keep thinking this means another Christmas alone. Luckily I'm booked in with Dr S on Thursday not that he'll have much more to say.
So if I took Humeria beginning of April I could then do a FET in May? Is that roughly how it's worth with your @VenusStarr? @seven201 roughly how long did it take Wimbledon to get your prescription in?
xxx

seven201 · 25/03/2022 08:23

@StillTrying10000 I saw mr s on Monday and he said go buy a cool bag, some frozen peas and call the hospital to check they have stock and go now! I rang (didn't answer phone first few tries so nearly went anyway!) but they didn't have any. They'd just ordered some. They said they'd call me when it arrived. I called them weds late morning and they said it was in so then I reserved it. Yes, I think may would be fine, but don't quote me!

VenusStarr · 25/03/2022 08:29

❤️ @StillTrying10000 I'm so sorry that you have your baby's anniversary this weekend as well. That is a lots to take on and cope with. I'm glad you're seeing Dr S next week. Xx

seven201 · 25/03/2022 08:50

Sorry, I was typing as rushing to get into work earlier. @StillTrying10000 anniversaries like that are incredibly hard. Please take any time you need to just let yourself be sad and grieve. Thanks

If you do go for humira I would just go with the Wimbledon place. We rang round lots of places and it was a waste of time.

StillTrying10000 · 25/03/2022 15:06

@seven201 and @VenusStarr thank you very much. I've now started bleeding, full flow filled a pad within a an hour with thick black blood. I phoned the clinic and they said it just isn't normal only 6PDT and when I'm full of progesterone, now I'm frustrated I've got to wait all the way until Thursday to see Dr S if today is day 1 of my cycle I will have lost a week. Nurse is going to speak to Dr J tomorrow and call me at least xx

VenusStarr · 25/03/2022 15:14

Oh goodness @StillTrying10000 that doesn't sound right at all 😕 I'm glad they're speaking with Mr Jan, but if it continues please get checked out at A&E xx

seven201 · 25/03/2022 16:13

@StillTrying10000 oh no! How much progesterone are you on? I had that with my first transfer, full on bleed 6 days after, was on just the progesterone suppositories. Since I've been on 200 cyclogest twice a day plus lentogest injections (think most people have lubion). It is weird that that's the first time it's happened though. Do you have a known progesterone issue? Does your clinic monitor with blood tests (mine doesn't but some do).

StillTrying10000 · 25/03/2022 17:52

@seven201 it's frustrating as no my clinic don't monitor HCG or progesterone so I'm unsure if that's an issue. My first transfer I was positive for two weeks but I bleed most of the time so since then I've been on two pessaries a day and a Lubion. I was actually naughty and did an extra one yesterday when I got my positive as an extra boost knowing that new life clinic recommend 2 Lubion a day as standard. Didn't seam to make a difference though. x

seven201 · 25/03/2022 19:04

@StillTrying10000 you'd have thought that extra progesterone would be enough. I would still keep on with the meds etc until it's definitely confirmed, as crap as that is. How are you doing (probably stupid question)? I'm so sorry this has happened.

VenusStarr · 25/03/2022 19:59

Did Mr Jan come back to you @StillTrying10000? Are you still bleeding heavily? X

StillTrying10000 · 25/03/2022 20:31

@seven201 yes I'll keep going with the meds. I actually had another positive tonight and the bleed has eased up so I took another cheeky Lubion but I know too well from experience not to get hopeful. The hope is always the most painful bit. I'm just throwing myself into trying to find solutions again. I'm seriously considering spending the £3k on the tacrolimus drug he suggested as one last throw the kitchen sink at it approach. Not even Dr S has used it before but logically it makes sense as it's used to stop transfer patients body's rejecting new organs and I'm sure that's similar to what's happening to me.
@VenusStarr Geri is with him in the morning so will ring me then. Not sure there's anything much they can say though apart from see Dr S as planned on Thursday.
I hope everyone is doing okay and will find the strength to get through Sunday xxx

VenusStarr · 25/03/2022 20:38

Christ, this is a roller-coaster for you @StillTrying10000 I had a heavy bleed in my fresh transfer but then positive - I think my progesterone levels bottomed out, so good thinking on the lubion. I've got everything crossed for you ❤️ I hope you get some reassurance tomorrow.

I'm avoiding the day and pretending it's not happening xx

VenusStarr · 26/03/2022 10:50

I hope you have heard from the clinic today @StillTrying10000 and that today is as gentle as possible ❤️

Lots of love to everyone xxx

StillTrying10000 · 26/03/2022 12:06

@VenusStarr thank you. Only just still testing positive and light bleeding today. I can feel my cervix is open so know it's not good news. Clinic just said keep taking meds and testing. I guess there's nothing else to say really. Hope you're doing okay this weekend too xx

seven201 · 26/03/2022 13:18

@StillTrying10000 it must be so frustrating not knowing for sure. Thinking of you. X

VenusStarr · 26/03/2022 14:01

I'm sorry @StillTrying10000 it's awful being in this limbo ❤️ thinking of you xx

Janefx40 · 26/03/2022 15:06

I'm so sorry @StillTrying10000 this is such a horrid place to be. In many ways that limbo is the hardest part. Most of us on this thread have been there. Sending lots of love and a hand hold xxx
