Hello!
Wow that is high, I had an AMH of 48 which was classed as high. I was put on a short protocol and I still had 38 follicles, I got very bloated after egg retrieval, but it went down in around 4 days so they still did the fresh transfer on day 5. I am now pregnant which is amazing but I did develop quite severe OHSS and honestly it was the worst thing I've ever been through, I was hospitalised for a week, couldn't stand up, I looked 9 months pregnant, could hardly breathe due to the fluid. I also have to take blood thinning injections for the full pregnancy. My ovaries were significantly enlarged due to the HCG keeping them over stimulated (still are enlarged). I'm home now at 7 weeks pregnant and the bloating has reduced slightly but I'm still uncomfortable, I believe it will start to fully disappear around 10-12 weeks when the placenta takes over. When the doctor told me that at 4 weeks I couldn't stop crying because it felt like a lifetime away.
My advice to you is to make sure you do a frozen cycle, I really wish I insisted on it. I know it drags things out but it's so worth it, I've been off work for 4 weeks and it's really been horrific.
A positive note is OHSS can be 100% avoided with the right decisions and high AMH respond very well to ivf (a bit too well) so that's a really good start, with close monitoring and a frozen transfer you should prevent OHSS but still get the results.
Hope this has helped, I wish someone that had had it advised me before transfer.
Sending lots of luck your way!
