Only 2 follicles after a week of treatment

Hi, I have been on a combination of Menopur and Ganerelix for just over a week now. I was scanned yesterday and found to have only 2 follicles (plus another really tiny 3rd one). My AMH is very low so I wasn’t expecting great results. Has anyone experienced the same? I know the odds are already stocked against us (my age plus low AMH)…we’re going back tomorrow for another scan and discuss ‘options’. Realistically is IVF even an option with just 2 follicles? I’m trying to stay positive…it’s difficult and I’m exhausted xx

Thankyou @strawberrysummer19, I’m feeling pretty rotten tbh. EC this morning and my stomach is so bloated and sore..paracetamol isn’t hitting the spot at all. We just got one precious egg…I know the odds are stacked against us but we can’t lose hope. Has anyone had to use the Crinone pessaries? I’m DREADING having to take them tonight! :(

The soreness will go away, mine did by Egg transfer

I drank lots of coconut water which really helped me x

Oh coconut water? I’ll be sending OH to the shops first thing in the morning to get some x

I found peppermint tea helped and to get on all fours to wiggle out any trapped wind. I think I also took something from the pharmacy for bloating but it didn’t help. Plenty of rest and fluids and keep some painkillers on hand . And yes, only takes one lucky little bean . Hope you feel better soon

It's full of electrolytes I was told and it really helped me. Hope you're feeling ok x
