Clearblue ovulation test

Hi ladies,

I bought some cheap online OPKs to test ahead of my natural FET next month (brand, One Step). So far, they're not working for me, either a faint line or no line at all and i'm sure i've already ovulated as my cycles are regular.

I'll have to spend more on the CB digital/smiley face type, but is it reliable enough to test just once a day with FMU? It's going to be a struggle to avoid liquids and hold pee for 4 hours later in the day for an additional afternoon test.

Also, for anyone who's done a natural FET, did your clinic monitor with bloods to confirm ovulation?

Hi @IslandStars I've never used clearblue but I did used to use the one step and they're rubbish now. I'd recommend the easy at home ones, you get 25 in a pack for £8ish and I've found them easy to read.

Good luck for your FET. I haven't done one yet, but will be doing a medicated one later in the year x

Hi @IslandStars - I have tried the CB digi tests and they are quite accurate. But I use them alongside Easy@Home tests. As PP mentioned they are quite affordable & easy to read.

I use Easy@Home tests every day from Day 8-9 of cycle. On the day the line is darkest in the morning, I test multiple times a day. As I get my peak line generally at night. Then I test using CB as they are quite expensive & I have wasted a lot of money in these tests.

Good luck with your cycle :)

@VenusStarr @morningvenus Thank you both for the tips, will check out the other brand to use alongside CB.

Good luck with your FET and any next steps you both take Smile
