Hello! Just had my egg collection today for my first of three egg collections with mild ivf. Is anyone doing mild ivf?
@Kitekat81 hoping cycle 2 is going well for you so far! Are you stimming right now? How are you feeling?

@LouScot that doesn't sound quite like mild to me. I was on 200 Bemfola from day 2 and stimmed for 9 days. And I think many are on 150 as @kitekat81 says. Mild may well be another path for you to consider!

@Woodcottage1 amazing start to your 3 cycle package. You must be so pleased!

Update from me, the clinic called with my beta blood results (I was too scared to test at home!) and it looks like this little embryo is sticking around. Whilst I know anything can happen, I feel like the luckiest person alive today. I hope this is encouraging to those on this thread that mild can work, a low number of eggs isn't the end of it, and low AMH doesn't have to mean we're out of the game. Wishing all the best to you ladies and will be following your journeys. xx
Oh my god, how blooming fabulous!!!! So excited for you, huge congratulations 🤞🤞🤞🤞🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

@Ally0400 congratulations, that's great news.

Thanks to everyone for the info. I'm going for a new Amh test next week, dreading it but I suppose I'm as well knowing (dreading the results I mean!).

It's lovely to hear that there is success. @Woodcottage1 so you've got 2 already from the first round, that's amazing!

Woodcottage1 · 17/06/2022 22:23

Sorry I’ve not messaged in a year nearly. Hope all is well. I’m on my second egg collection now, going to be interesting what the results will be nearly a year along x hope everything worked out @Ally0400 xx

Hi@Woodcottage1

I have been reading these forum’s for some time now and I keep coming across you’re post’s/comments in relation to create Wilmslow.and I’m wondering if I could ask a few questions in relation to you’re treatment and success, I noticed you had a positive beta-blood test, congratulations to you. I also noticed you are on cycle two after a year. Are you still at wilmslow?

Sorry for all the questions, I’m due to start my treatment/medication next week, I scared of any side affects to medication and also for the egg transfer

thank you for taking the time to read and hopefully you are able to respond xx

PositiveAnnie · 28/06/2022 20:19

O I also forgot to add, I have low AMH (1.2) and first scan I had 3 Antral follicles, after a repeat scan I had 8 follicles which has now changed my treatment plan from natural modified ivf to mild ivf protocol with ICSI

Hi Positive Annie @PositiveAnnie , no problem. My success story was actually in cyprus. I have one ovary and the first time I did ivf (full protocol) I had about 8 follicles and actually came out with 14 eggs, 11 fertilised, 2 went to poor blastocysts. My second ivf (full protocol) I had 8 eggs, 5 mature, 5 went to blastocysts and one was normal. This normal became Arabella who is now nearly 20 months. The main difference between the two rounds was supplements and removing plastic from my kitchen.
I decided on create in wilmslow as I couldn’t get to cyprus because of covid. I also felt with above and what I’d read elsewhere that more is less. I paid for 3 egg collections, one I did last July and one I’ve just done. 225 protocol, last year I got 2 eggs, both blastocysts and I’ve just had 3 eggs collected and find out tomorrow how they are. The reason for the delay is I just didn’t feel great with my heavy periods, sick of weight gain, probably very foolish.
re scared of the medication or egg transfer, honestly don’t be. I’m happy to meet up and do your first injections if you like and are local. I had a total of 20 injections, very easy. No side effects, very mild period like dullness towards the end. Cried a bit but not too much. It was fine. The egg collection is completely fine, you don’t feel a thing. You get asked about if you’ve had anaesthetic etc or allergies. Then go into the collection room, feet in stands, scan to check the follicles. Injection into your hand and then lovely anaesthetic (I love being put to sleep) then 10 mins later you wake up, drink tea and water have biscuits then have a wee and then you can go home 👍

@Woodcottage1 thank you very much for you’re reply and all the information you gave me in relation to you’re journey so far, Congratulations on Arabella too.

that is so kind of you to offer support in relation to medication too. I’m travelling from Teesside to Wilmslow for treatment 🤦‍♀️ They are all lovely in create and very welcoming. I’ve never been put to sleep in my whole 38 year’s 🤣🤣. I’m such a baby

what supplements did u take? I’m taking vitamin d and folic acid currently, I previously took impyrl and I found my afc was much lower when I did so

Woodcottage1 · 28/06/2022 21:00

Have a think about dhea. I’m on the supplements from the the book starts with an egg. I’m not sure what helps 🙈….regarding being put to sleep, it will be low amounts for such a short amount of time and you don’t feel anything and I love a good sleep. Please don’t worry, it’s really easy and safe. Your first injection will be about 6/7pm so you’ll probably want to be back home but if you are around, I can do it for you.

I’ll definitely look at the dhea supplements and thank you very much for you’re kindness.

excellent news @Woodcottage1 fingers crossed for you the next two day’s 🤞🤞

Woodcottage1 · 01/07/2022 17:26

Didn’t get good results :(….going to get the books back out and plan my supplements and hope for the best xxx

PositiveAnnie · 01/07/2022 19:10

O I’m so sorry to hear that @Woodcottage1

i had a lash appointment today and my last technician said there’s supplements called j and s product’s and they’ve just gone in to selfridges the brand, she swears by them and has some friends who have taken them supplements, I haven’t researched them yet but I plan to, tonight

PositiveAnnie · 05/07/2022 20:37

I didn’t get good news on Saturday after my day 2 scan @Woodcottage1

ive had to push back another month before I start medication as they functioning cysts have returned so I’ve been prescribed micrognon for 21 days and have to wait for next cycle to be scanned to see if cyst’s have gone etc before stims start 🤦‍♀️🤞 for next cycle

did you have any luck on supplements

Woodcottage1 · 05/07/2022 21:04

Oh no I’m sorry @PositiveAnnie . That sucks :( I’m restarting my supplements tomorrow, I’ll upload on here what I’m doing xx

OP posts:
PositiveAnnie · 05/07/2022 22:26

It’s so stressful at times isn’t it @Woodcottage1

fingers crossed you’re supplements work xx

PositiveAnnie · 08/08/2022 15:55

@Woodcottage1 how are you getting on with you’re supplements

I was finally able to start treatment and looking at egg collection Thursday so 🤞

ringofrain · 08/08/2022 23:20

Hi ladies, I have read through here found everyone talk about AMH level but the doctor from create everytime only tell me E2 and LH from blood test result, number/size of folics, even they seems never check AMH level, so I jcuries why there is difference here? do I need to ask them to check my AMH level?

PositiveAnnie · 09/08/2022 08:14

@ringofrain Hi, my AMH levels were tested at first consultation that’s the only time I think it’s measured to look at egg reserve for treatment going forward xx

ringofrain · 09/08/2022 17:06

@PositiveAnnie thank you, I have checked the report from my first consulatation and didn't see AMH, I will ask it from my patient cordinator, it'd be helpful if they could explain numbers and what are being tested on the report.

PositiveAnnie · 09/08/2022 17:40

@ringofrain you’re welcome

i hadn’t seen my AMH either, the consultant discussed it after the first lot of blood tests and there’s no mention of it since

hopefully you’re co-ordinator can give you some advice. I think that as long as L2 I think it is is rising you’re all good

ringofrain · 09/08/2022 18:04

@PositiveAnnie , the problem is my E2 is low and LH is high 😔, the doctor they expect to see E2 is high and LH is lower which is good sign for folic growing.

PositiveAnnie · 09/08/2022 19:57

@ringofrain that makes sense. Have they said if they can give medication to help that

ringofrain · 20/08/2022 23:32

Hi @PositiveAnnie, just back from holiday and will have consultation with doc. to see if any med. can help with it, hope everything goes well!
