High E2 during stims

I'm on my third cycle of IVF and stim with 150IU Menopur

Cycle 1 was the same protocol - from that we got 22 eggs, 14 fertilised, 1 blast (frozen)
Failed FET.

I'm currently on day 10 of stims with my E2 at >18,000 so I will be doing a freeze all.
Something we (husband & I) were trying to avoid!
I'm currently sitting with around 30 odd follicles - largest being 15 just now, but mainly 12/13s.

Before starting this cycle I had asked about reducing my Menopur to 125IU (agreed at private clinic) but we have since moved to NHS as we reached top of the waiting list and they said they won't go below 150.

Has anyone else had a massive rise in E2 with low blast rates?

Hi @unknownscot just popping by to say hi and I hope you are ok. That oestrogen level is huge! I'm not surprised they are doing a freeze all. Hopefully someone will come by and comment with experience with this. If not it might be worth searching for some OHSS posts to see what oestrogen levels have been in people that got the condition. I hope you don't get it though and they can get these follicles drained with a great result for you ASAP!

@unknownscot - In my first IVF cycle done privately I had very high E2 >12000 had

20 follicles 17 fertilised
By day 5
I got 2 blastocyst which wasn't expanded so lower grade
2 blastocyst was fragmented so they were discarded
6 very early blastocyst
6 morula

All were frozen

The consultant was very unhappy with the outcome.
I haven't done the transfer yet but the embryologist said my chances of success were only 20% Sad

My friend who is obese and diabetic had same high E2 level as me but she got beautiful 17 blastocyst so I don't think E2 degrades the quality. Luck and fate plays a big role too

Wish you all the best
