Hi can anyone advise
Im currently on day 10 and had my first scan today. Im slightly under the uterus lining mark so back Monday. The nurse mentioned about me having a tiny bit of fluid there also? And that if its still there on my next scan i will have to try again next cycle! Did anyone else experience this? And is this possible to happen every month?

Yes I had this usually it dries up once you start progesterone suppositories

@Larnabanana I didn’t have this, but the issue is that any excess fluid can prevent the embryo from adhering to the endometrium which it needs to do to implant. Because of this when they release the embryo from the catheter during the transfer they only infuse the tiniest amount of fluid. I hope it dries up for you, if it doesn’t it might be worth discussing further investigations before another transfer.

@Larnabanana are you on stims just now currently? So you mean if still there they will do a freeze all?

This exact situation happened to me. I had a lot of folicles and had fluid in my lining, they said regardless of how much eggs I collected (although have 34+ folicles) we'd be a freeze all because of the fluid. The embryo won't be able to implant if they transfer with that there.
It was decided at that appointment that I'd be a freeze all.
Had FET 20th April and have my BFP
It's annoying having to wait longer but best to let your body be in best condition for transfer :)

Hii, yes it turns out i have fluid gathering on my c section scar on the inside from having my little girl 5 years ago. Been referred to the nhs for a camera. Hopefully get seen quickly then i can be referred back to my private clinic. I hope this has nothing to do with my first implant from taking as surely they shouldn't have even transferred the embryo back :( xx

@Larnabanana I had this issue too due my c section niche (which is what it sounds like u have). I wasn’t sure if it was stopping m3 getting a bfp as I found out I also had another uterine issue. Anyways when my consultant went in to fix my other uterine issue he also “burnt” my niche so it made less toxic fluid. I’ve not had fluid concerns after he did that so maybe it helped (only had 2 cycles monitored after it). It’s a bit controversial as to if a c section niche can cause infertility but if it’s big (mine Wasnt) I think it Can from the reading I did - certainly can make
It a bit tricker and certainly if you keep having fluid in your lining. You need someone quite experienced with hysteroscopy to spot it and then maybe tx it if you think it’s necessary.
