In September. Although £3,000 - £3,500 per cycle, not including drugs, seems just a little bit cheaper than the usual price rather than a whole lot.

I saw this. What I found a bit odd is that they say they're not planning to have much eligibility criteria and they don't want to market add ons, but that they'll be honest with people about their chances of success, which in some cases they acknowledge will be low.

I know it's a controversial issue, but if you aren't "bog standard" then it can make sense on a case by case basis to pursue certain add ons - for example PGS or growth hormone as two disparate examples. I wouldn't be keen on using them as a clinic if they weren't able to take a personalised approach and explore with me ways of maximising my chances.

Will be interesting to see what their success rates will be like and the rest of their price list! I do think it's a step in the right direction though - these private clinics have been left to overcharge like crazy.

This is interesting, although the sceptical side of me thinks it all sounds rather idealistic and lacking a dose of reality! 200 ECs a year is hardly any, they will be swamped with requests if they have no criteria and will have years long wait times in no time.

The clinic we used reinvest all their profit into their research activities (Kings Fertility). Their basic cycle cost is £4200 without ICSI or any other additional treatments (and excluding meds). They seem very fair value for the service they provide in case people are looking for cheaper clinic options.

They aren't any cheaper than a lot of private clinics so it's just a media/marketing con

I can't see how it's any different to what ABC have been offering for a while now. I know they have a criteria, but it makes sense that only the "simplest" cases will be able to have the ABC approach.
