Looking for some experience with the HSG test? Google has given me some absolute horror stories so freaking out a bit!

Has anyone had one that wasn't traumatic?

Ah thanks for your reply @dragonleo. I just feel super uncomfortable, bloated (TMI) and pretty wiped energy-wise tbh. I think that's probably because I worked myself up a bit!! X

Just wondering what were the outcomes of everyone's HSG? I was told have 'mild' scarring - I think from prior c section. Have been ttc for 2 years and have had 3 MC. They said I could have it fixed w hysteroscopy but wondered if any stories of success after scarring corrected?

@dragonleo that sounds like ashermans syndrome, it's important to see an a lister in the condition, as more damage can be done when someone tries to remove adhesions and scarring if they're not an expert in the condition. There are two specialists in London, if you're located in the UK. Some people go across to Germany where they have a good set up, they'll do a consultation and then have you in for the hysteroscopy the next day. There are Facebook groups where you can get more information, one for the UK and one international.

@Gardenlady543 thanks for all the info. Am in London so will make sure to go to the right person. Will check out the FB group- do you know what it's called?

@dragonleo this is the group:

The London specialists are Mr Lower and Mr Trew. They're both private and quite expensive. But as you'll see in the group people have good things to say about the Germany option which is cheaper.
