@Mctm123 Thank you!!! I really can't believe it. It's amazing to see the words at long last but I don't feel like I'll be able to really get excited until the viability scan (yikes the wait for that will be torturous!) The whole ivf process is just so fraught isn't it!

Happy OTD for tomorrow both of you! And well done @Mrsmch123
for being patient and waiting!xx

@Mrsmch123 Congratulations!! Such fantastic news 🥳🥳 You did well to last until last night, haha.

Wishing us all lots of success going forward and hoping the wait for the viability scan isn’t too torturous, arghhh!

Anyone else on the dreaded 2WW? I had my FET last Tuesday. Was feeling positive but I'm beginning to worry about my lack of symptoms.

Anyone else not feeling much? Or anyone else get a BFP with minimal 2WW symptoms?

Yes, me! Had a Day 6 frozen transfer last Wednesday and foolishly tested yesterday and, obviously it was a very big fat negative. Felling nothing at all. I’ve got a job interview today so have decided not to test again till that’s behind me. I do actually have a two year old from an IVF cycle and I miscarried earlier this year with a frozen one and both times felt absolutely nothing until about 6 weeks, so I don’t think you can read much into anything at this stage.
Good luck to you and congrats to earlier posters who got positives this round, fingers crossed everything progresses well for you.

Hey @AutumnVibes thank you for your reply! I am sorry to hear about your loss earlier this year. I am keeping everything crossed for you.

This is my first transfer. I did PGS so it was a FET. It was also a day 6 blastocyst - last Tuesday... so I am just one day ahead of you. My plan is to test on Sunday which is OTD. How about you?

Good to hear you didn't have any symptoms with your previous BFPs. Made me feel a lot better! I am getting the occasional very light cramps but thinking that's to do with the progesterone pessaries.

X

@AutumnVibes Have you tested again yet? I'm still trying to hold out until Sunday but getting really hard now! X

Hi, thank you for remembering, I have been meaning to update. Yes, tested a couple more times, including yesterday and negative I’m afraid :( official test day is Monday but in my other positive rounds they were showing up positive well before now so I think it’s no good for me this time. Oh well.
I was really devastated on Wednesday, but today is my birthday and I remembered that my first round test day was on this day three years ago. Today I had a lovely day with my two year old playing in the woods with friends I met through him and I remembered to just focus on how grateful I am and how things change even when you feel that you’re totally stuck.
So I really hope this round works out for you, but sending lots of really calm and determined vibes your way if this one isn’t the one too. Things usually come good in the end, xxx

I'm sorry to hear about your BFN but it sounds like a birthday walk with your two year old was the perfect remedy for your upset. How lovely that you have a two year old from IVF. It's great that you know it can work for you. I hope next time you get lucky again. Sending strength.

I got my first ever BFP this morning. I feel in total shock and still can't believe it! Hoping everything progresses ok but for now just celebrating being pregnant for the first time ever!

AutumnVibes · 01/11/2020 17:13

That’s really lovely news, congratulations! I’ll keep my fingers crossed that everything goes well for you. I think babies after fertility difficulties are so precious and the feeling of wonder and gratitude doesn’t really wear off. Once you’re on the other side you’ll find loads of women you meet will tell you all about their own difficult journeys, it’s only when you’re trying that you feel like the only one.
All the best of luck for an awfully big adventure, x
