Are immunes like ivig/intralipids/steroids used in UK IVF?

Hi all, I was wondering if immune treatments are used a lot in uk ivf? I’m in Ireland and clinics are not to uk standard. I’ve had x3 ivf and took until 3rd to make a embryo - we got two blasts and one put back and negative.

Our consultant said let’s go ahead with FET. I asked for a test to be done that looks at immune reaction of a biopsy of lining in advance and it came back with half of the markers slightly over or under range. He said he would prescribe steroids but overall felt that a lot of immune treatments cost thousands and have limited evidence.

I got a second opinion from another consultant who said the results were abnormal.

So now I don’t know what to do re FET.

Then I realised I don’t often hear on these boards of women having treatment for immunes whereas on the Irish board there are lots of women taking mushrooms doing ivig etc

Is it something promoted in uk or also considered minimal impact?

It took us so long to even be able to get a blast I’m worried about wasting it.

The HFEA guidance on this is red (here's the link) www.hfea.gov.uk/treatments/treatment-add-ons/reproductive-immunology-tests-and-treatment/ so it is not considered beneficial.

But on the basis that it is cheap and can't do any harm my clinic has prescribed prednisolone for my next transfer
