@chocolate336...I can totally understand the feeling. As you have seen from the above replies, with IVF it's very difficult to say why sometimes it works and why it doesn't but one has to be mentally ready as it has about 33% success rate.
What you can do is check you and partner have the tests done and fix whatever you can. And next, check the embryo as it's heartbreaking to go through a failed cycle.
If you haven't already, check with your consultant to do the uterine inflammation (I asked for this but consultant said don't need it as one usually sees some signs of this in ultrasound), dietary inflammation, lupus and thyroid tests (I did these last 3).
We were also told to do a DNA fragmentation test for my hubby's sperm.
For the embryos, you can do pgs testing to make sure they are normal and have a chance to implant.
Additionally, you should get your progesterone levels monitored after transferring. Some women have issues absorb ING it and you wouldn't know unless they test.
These options and tests weren't available with NHS so we have just gone private.
You should try going for 2 in next transfer, I have been doing that as well. My previous cycles were with NHS so they do allow you to do that if you are on NHS as well.
It's a great result to have 5 frosties in 1st cycle, I only managed to get 1 after 3. So I hope you don't have to do many more...wishing you all the success. Stay positive, it's a trying time...we have to try and keep ourselves sane. 😄
