IUI after ICSI?

I've previously posted about having ICSI IVF, which unfortunately didn't take. All my numbers looked fine, my husband's low sperm count was the deciding factor for ICSI. His count improved massively from the first test to the day of the egg collection (still in ICSI territory though), and I'm really hoping it has gone up more since as it's been a while since the ICSI, but still no BFP from trying naturally. He's sorting a new test. If his count has reached something closer to the normal range, does anyone know if I'd receive any NHS funding for further tests on me and maybe IUI, as an example? I had all but one test before the ICSI - no check on my tubes, so I'm left wondering. Is IUI given after ICSI on the NHS? I'm 40, and my CCG only funds one round of IVF. Anyone with any similar experiences please?

It might differ between CCG's but our clinic were really clear that we couldn't do funded IUI after our funded ICSI IVF.

My ccg doesn't offer iui funded at all - just one fresh round of ivf.
I'd think if you needed icsi, it would be a very slim chance for iui to be successful. It's probably best to book a consultation at a clinic to check out the options.

Highly unlikely. Also most CCGs cut off is age 40?

IUI has very low success rates - you have to factor in at least 10 rounds to have the same success as one round of IVF. Are you able to pay privately?

People say they can't "afford" IVF but we took out a loan of £13k over 5 years which is £275 a month. This got us 3 rounds. This is MUCH cheaper than the cost of actually raising a child (childcare is £800+ a month) or the cost of giving up one wage to be a stay at home parent

Thanks everyone - it's not the financial cost of IVF, I have the details and going private isn't as expensive as I thought it'd be. I was thinking of IUI as an option as my brain and progesterone didn't get on! But yes, I know the IUI percentages are rather low. A new sperm test should be helpful in knowing if it's still ICSI or nothing.
