Has anyone been on these for low progesterone levels? Are they are rank as I’ve been reading 🙈
I see some people have them 3-12dpo and stop and some take them well into 12 weeks of the pregnancy, anyone know why there’s a difference?
I’m not trying till November so do I start them then or start them now?
Do I bother with everything else I’m taking to try lengthen my LP (9 day LP) like Brazil nuts, vit b6, also on Vit c, aspirin and seven seas trying for a baby

Any help at all on them would be great

I've taken them as part of my IVF and recently I've been on them 3x a day until 12 weeks of pregnancy (once you are pregnant you generally stay on them until the placenta takes over)

They aren't as bad as I thought they would be - I do them the back way and it's a lot less messier. Side effects minimal too - sore boobs a couple of hours after taking them but settle down after that

I've been prescribed them as I've had recurrent miscarriages but none of my tests have shown why. I take 200mg x2 from 7dpo until 14dpo, if positive up to 400mg x2 and I'll continue until 12 weeks. If negative I stop then wait for af to start the next cycle.

I find them OK, not as messy as some have said, but I use the back door.

Thank you so much ladies

How far up do you push them 🙈
Is it certain ones that you can do up there? I’ve read some are front way only? X

I used them for IVF and used them until twice a day for 12 weeks as mentioned by a PP until the placenta takes over. I was using Cyclogest and was told by my clinic to use them vaginally so did as I was directed (though I know Cyclogest can be used front or back). At the front they are a bit messy, but I wore a sanitary towel or panty liner and it was ok. Some people mentioned that the 'mess' ruined their underwear, I didnt find that at all, even on the days I didn't wear a liner. Everything washed away. The side effects are similar to pregnancy ones - sore boobs was the main one I had but that could have been due to pregnancy so hard to differentiate I think. They really aren't that bad, just not a lot of fun. My clinic wanted me to stop using them at 8 weeks as they felt my placenta was sufficient, I requested to carry on to 12 weeks so it's really not that bad.

Thank you, I keep reading to carry on to 16 weeks to ensure placenta has well taken over so I’ll see what I can persuade them to do lol
