I'm with Create Birmingham and have had a really good experience with them but choosing a clinic is very personal. I went to a few open evenings A Care, Priory etc but I got the best "feeling" about Create

Birmingham Women's Hospital are the cheapest option in Birmingham but whilst the nurses are amazing, you do lose a little bit of the personal touch from the doctors.

I got pregnant first time there, I know I've been lucky but will use them for any subsequent treatment for a sibling.

Best of luck @WE32. Try and visit the clinics if you can and ge take bit of a feel for them. Also check the HFEA website for success rates and try to get the clearest price picture you can before committing. I'm happy to send you the pricing list for BWH including drugs if you want to drop me a direct message

We've had treatment at BWH, Care Tamworth (before they became Care) and now Care Birmingham.

We only moved from the Tamworth to Birmingham Care clinics recently because it's closer and they're now part of the same group so it was fairly easy to move. They are considerably more expensive than it used to be in Tamworth and even more expensive than BWH but we had such a dreadful experience with BWH that we think they are worth the money.

We've had 2 rounds of treatment with Care now and really happy with the way they operate.

As PP said though, it's a good idea to have a look round and contact everyone. If you're focused on cost, have a look through all the costs of the relevant procedures. You might find one looks cheaper initially, but charges loads for initial consultations, or vice versa.

Good advice from previous posters - request price lists from all the clinics and do a quick spreadsheet

Also I went with Create as I only wanted to do mild or natural modified IVF and they specialise in that and also for older women with low AMH - so have a read up on whether the clinics are specialists in anything?

It really is very individual though as some people have a great experience and others awful
