Best IVF Clinics that allow two embryo transfer

Hello,
Due to my age (39) and having a disabled son (not with my husband) and husband having a vasectomy, we have decided ivf is best to try PGD to avoid chromosomal defects.
Due to my age we will also only have one pregnancy I know there are risks but for us chance for twins would be great. Also the live birth rate for my age group is terribly low.

I read that alot of clinics don't want multiples and some refuse to impant more than one embryo, can i be refused if i request 2 to go (providing they are healthy)
Ofc we want 5 day blastocyst for the PGS-PGA (not sure which test it is we will need)
Also my hsband will need SSR as he doesnt need a vasectomy refersal with risking a natural chromosome defect pregnancy.
Are there any clinics in uk that allow this to be the parents choice?
Which also offer the multi cycle packages

I am in East Anglia, but will travel for the best, ive seen so many and then the mixed reviews is mortifying.

I'm with Create and had my second double transfer last week. They have supported me in my choice - this was the argument I gave them

  • we can financially just about afford to raise twins
  • this will be my final pregnancy if it works (I have 1 DD)
  • I have had 2 previous failed transfers
  • I don't have any tubes anymore as lost them both to ectopic pregnancies (IVF actually increases chance of ectopics)
  • I'm 37 (most clinics refuse double transfers below this age)
  • my egg quality/blastocyst quality up to this point has been average and chance of both implanting is actually pretty low
  • I PGS tested a couple of embryos last year and 1 was abnormal and the other mosaic so again chances of two implanting at low
  • financially we couldn't afford to do 4 single transfers
  • our embryos are similar in quality - you can actually reduce your chances of it working if you transfer two embryos which are vastly different in quality as the body may put its effort into the weaker one and ignore the better quality one

My clinic agreed on the basis that I didn't transfer 2 top quality AA embryos together

Clinics do have targets they are forced to comply with by their regulatory body - they have to keep multiple lives birth rates below that of the naturally occurring national average which is why they often refuse to do double transfers

Create has the best success rates for older women but you need to be realistic at your age you may not get more than one PGS normal embryo anyway?
