Hi guys,

We have received today the first results from the clinic regarding the egg collection we did yesterday morning, and it doesnt seems very encouraging, so we would really like your input as we do not know what to make of the results :/

Number of embryos: 6 (1x2PN, 1x1PN, 3x0/1, 1x2)

As we understood, only 1 embryo is fertilised until this point (24 hours after the egg collection) so we would really like to know if there is a chance that others have hope as well?

Thanks and have a great weekend!

@Alon789 how did you find the communication before you went over there for egg collection, and where did you get your scans done & medication from?

Hope you don't me asking these questions. X

Alon789 thank you. That’s a tricky one. My consultant told me that putting in two doesn’t increase chances of implantation and in some cases can have a detrimental effect. I guess just see how many you are left with but personally I would only put back one at a time as implantation failure could be to do with your lining that particular month not necessarily the embryo. What does your consultant say? Xx

@Maximoo06 - Feel free to ask any question, that´s why this forum exist :) Hmm..well all the communication was done via email with a representative from the clinic, which usually replied within few hours and provided with all needed information. We didnt had any initial consultation Skype call with the doctor (as I know some people do).

We did our first scan in Germany (where we live) on day 7 and the second one on day 10 at the clinic in Brno, where we also had a chance to meet and discuss with the doctor for the first time. Regarding the medications, once we have received the protocol and the prescriptions from the clinic, we just ordered them via mail from the pharmacy that works with the clinic (they are also located in the same building) - everything went super smooth.

@Wiltshirelass2019 - We will have our consultation on Tuesday morning, couple of hours before the scheduled ET, I guess it really depends on the number and quality of blasts we will have by then and most likely we will just go with what the doctor will suggest. We have heard some really negative stories during the past couple of weeks regarding 2 blasts transfers so we are really lost here :/
