Lining is always still too thick at baseline

I'm starting to worry about my lining. At every baseline scan I've had (3) they always say my lining is too thick even after a day or 2 of bleeding, then I don't seem to bleed that much after that. They always do my bloods to see if estrogen is making my lining thick but the results are fine. The clinic does give me the go ahead to start meds but after 2 miscarriages I'm worried my lining is an issue. I've tried to research but mostly find info about lining at transfer stage which my clinic says is fine ( or beautiful). I will discuss with my clinic but just wandered if anyone has had similar or knows much about it.

@LillyLeaf sorry no real advice! Do you know what the thickness is when they do the scan? Sorry about your miscarriages xx

Hi @LillyLeaf I've had issues with thick lining which seems the opposite of most people's problems as everytime I googled it over the years I kept finding people struggling to get it thick enough!

My history is I've had 4 fresh ICSI transfers and 3 frozen transfers. I've had 2 miscarriages and I've had 2 successful pregnancies (hopefully anyway as I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant). I've had 2 cycles cancelled on my baseline scans due to the lining being too thick and I've also had bleeding during all my FETs which have been put down to overly thick lining. At first I found my consultant wasn't at all concerned with the lining issues. After fresh cycle 2 he agreed it could be an issue and suggested a hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy and removal of lining. I got pregnant with my little boy the cycle after that. After going back for treatment a few years later they still weren't that bothered about my thick lining until I had a complicated miscarriage after one of my FETs. I was bleeding for months afterwards. As part of the investigations I yet again had a hysteroscopy, biopsy and removal of lining. My current pregnancy is a result of the cycle after that. They found nothing untoward during either of the operations. Of course it could be coincidence but I believe my lining was an issue and the hysteroscopies helped me to achieve a viable pregnancy. Just maybe something to think about and discuss with your consultant if you haven't had any investigations like that yet? Sorry for the lengthy post! Will be keeping everything crossed for you
