Anyone else on their dreaded 2WW?

Hi ladies
This is our 2nd try at ivf/icsi and can't seem to remember how I coped the first time. Had 1 FET last Thursday and really struggling to cope this time. Feeling low energy and really badly bloated. Feels like storm Hannah is not just battling outside!

Would love to hear how anyone else is/ has been coping on their 2WW x

@piup CONGRATULATIONS!!

The clinic gave us our pregnancy test so I didn't need to buy one. Although I had a expired first response on in the cupboard so I did that one today before I went for my blood test.

They didn't tell me the number. She just said it was a strong result.
Was does the number mean?

How are you feeling?

Can I join? I'm on my 2ww and my OTD is on Monday. I tested on Monday ( which was 6 days after my 5 day blastocyst frozen transfer with 2 put back in) with a first response and was a very clear positive. I am now worried as I have a while yet till official test.

@Leanne my otd is Tuesday and I had a very feint positive with a frer today. I did a 3 day frozen transfer. Have you done any other tests since? I think if you look at timelines it seems reasonable that a test would pick up hcg for you by now!

Thank you lovelies. So nice to feel I'm not alone!! DH is supportive but he panics more than me and gets more stressed out.

@sandytoes84 It felt really good to test isn't it? Don't get disappointed with faint lines as mine was hardly visible.

@white13 I think the number is the hcg concentration in the blood. It's supposed to double up every 48 hours. Will be going back to clinic on Monday morning for next blood test. When is your next appointment?

Yesterday felt amazing. Today I'm back to exhaustion and hormones all over the place. And you?

It's our 2nd attempt and last time we got up to 7th week only.

Wow this has to be the luckiest thread ever!! So happy for Piup and White!!

And Sandy and Leanne - a line is a line as they say - so that's great do you both too!

And let me join the gang by saying I did my blood test today and for a BFP too!! I'm still a bit in shock that this could really have worked. But early days. After last year's miscarriage I don't want to get ahead of myself. I don't really have any symptoms except being exhausted, but with a toddler that's just normal for me!

How's everyone feeling?!

@Rumplestrumpet thanks I can't quite believe it. I feel ok I'm tired but like you said with a toddler it's expected. I have a 3 year old. X

@piup our next appointment is our 7 week scan.

Not getting my Hope's up as it's our first try with ICSI and I know the odds of your first one working aren't great.
So I will be a very happy lady when we leave the scan and everything is ok.

My husband is very excited and is convinced we are having twins. 🤭

Are you all telling family now or waiting until 12 weeks? We are waiting and trying to think of a great way of surprising everyone.

We have kept them a step behind, so at the mo they think we are waiting for a start date. I cant wait to see all their faces. 🤣

I first tested with a clear blue and it was negative and I was so upset. Then a couple of days later I thought I will test with a first response. And got a very strong positive. I have now just tested again with a clear blue and have now got a very clear positive on that. I think I'm just paranoid and will be until I feel like I'm pregnant my official blood test isn't until Monday. X

Anyone else on their dreaded 2WW?

@Rumplestrumpet congratulations that's great news. Also feeling tired, could nap all day. Back to work on Monday which means traveling down to London and staying there till Thursday. Not looking forward to it!
My sense of smell has gone sharper as well. I have to be careful in shops not to be close to people who look like they've just been to the gym!

Had another acupuncture session this morning and she checked my nipples and said they've gone darker which is a good sign apparently.

@leannemford fab news!

@Pleaseletitbeme I can sort of see a faint line. Did you try again today?

@white13 I'm not telling many people - only the in laws and direct line manager. Last time I did tell all my close entourage but we miscarriaged at 8 weeks. Trying to stay positive and take a lot more rest this time.

Well official test date not until Tuesday, but it’s looking pretty positive over here! Good luck everyone, I’m super nervous about next few weeks (previous miscarriage).

Hi everyone.
Congrats on those positives - great news!

We tested today - BFN at 8dp4dt. I wish I hadn't tested. One minute I'm feeling so negative and losing hope and the next minute I'm feeling that we tested too early and there's still time.

This is the hardest time, I wish I had a crystal ball.

@Pleaseletitbeme @sandytoes84 Congrats. Was feeling shite all day with lower back pain. You made my day!

@Kinney don't lose hope. I had varied success with poas. The morning before going for my blood test I had got a BFN.

@White14 have you decided whether you're sharing your happy news yet?

What vitamins are you all taking? I’ve been taking pregnacare but they’re huge and have an awful smell and aftertaste, I’m sure they’re making me feel nauseous as it must be too early for morning sickness.

Anyone on anything different that are less yuck?!

I’m taking pregncare too... they are massive.
I take them at night with food.

Got fed up of waiting for the phone call so I phoned them myself 🙈 i am now classed as 4 weeks pregnant 7 week scan on the 6th of July. The nurse said my levels are high, they are 1915 🙈. I don't no what to take from that as I had 2 transferred. X
