Hi all,

Just looking for a bit of advice and hope.

So I have a LB who is 7 now, we have been trying to concieve for the last 4 1/2 years, which has resulted in x8 misscarriages and x1 ectopic (october 17 - no tubes removed) Each has got to 8wks and couldnt go any further, after many many months of pleading with my GP to refer me to a specialist I have an app later this month with the fertility clinic. I'm just looking to see if anyone has suffered the same or simular situation and had a positive outcome ?

Thank you Smile

Sorry to hear you’ve had such a torrid time. I suffered a ruptured ectopic and an early mc before I successfully conceived DS so know how horrific 2 losses in succession made me feel, let alone what you’ve been through.

I know two ladies who suffered repeat miscarriages whilst ttc #2. They both ultimately received treatment from the National Miscarriage Centre via Tommy’s, and have now happily had successful second pregnancies. I Googled and found this link in case it’s helpful: www.tommys.org/our-organisation/charity-research/miscarriage-research-centre

Wishing you an abundance of luck. Secondary infertility is awful (I’m on these boards because we can’t seem to conceive at all second time round).

Thank you so much for the link I shall have a look it really means alot.

It's a lot harder to accept something isn't right the second time round. Like I say I've know something isn't right within my body as I can't carry full term and tbh I can't believe it has taken me this long to finally get my GP to agree.

I'm so sorry to hear your situation I pray that you have the outcome you so desperatly desire.

Xx
