Hi all,
I’m recovery from a recent laparoscopy and I’m taking it as a good chance to reset my diet. I am moving towards no red meat, gluten, caffeine, alcohol, refined sugar and dairy. I don’t think I will be able to give up all of them 100 percent of the time but am going to try to stick to the 80/20 rule. Ok also trying to buy more organic and eat a lot of plant based meals.

As motivation I wanted to hear any advice on this or success getting pregnant following this restrictive diet? If so how restrictive were you? Did you stick to it 100 percent? What advice could you give?

Thanks all!

Hello, I am very interested in this as well.I had the lap 3 years ago and I didn't get pregnant in this time so moving to IVF.I want to change the diet but I know it is going to be hard specially the gluten part but I really can't put up anymore with the pain, depression and all symptoms related.

Hi guio. Thanks for your reply. I have painful cramps during my period but am lucky not to have them during the rest of my cycle. I will let you know if the period cramps ease as a result of my diet. If I manage to keep it up! It is hard to stay motivated when you don’t see results isn’t it?! Plus I have such a sweet tooth-sugar and dairy are the really hard ones for me!

It sounds like people with endo have a fairly good success rate with IVF-I really hope it works out for you. It’s earlier days for me so we will not be doing IVF for about a year but I’m very interested in pre IVF diets etc.

Good luck

Yep I am the same but no with sugars, love bread and cheeses.have you removed this completely from the diet?I am 35 and I really regret not have dealt in a different way before.i think I was living in a bubble with my painful periods and I was diagnosed only 3 years ago when I was 32.I am sure that the endo is the problem of my fertility as I am regular and I ovulate.I really hate my body 😔
