I'm not sure where to post this. 😢. So I'm sorry as I'm not ttc however I guess a few here have pcos.
My beard hair is making me so down. Plucking 3 times a day prob takes an hour a day and hair removal cream once a week. It still shows. I thought I was hiding it, until a child pointed out I had a beard 🙄. Feeling pretty low. I know you are all going through worse so I'm sorry to post as I'm very lucky and have 3 children (all took over a year and all needed help to conceive, my first took 5 years!). I know that's far more heartbreaking.

You can request an hormonal cream from your GP (Sorry i cant remember the name) Just explain the situation to your GP. I think that they only give it out in certain areas though. It should help Smile

Dont worry they will have seen everything. Just remember its not your fault and its common. If you usally pluck let the hairs grow in a bit so that the doctor can see. Or take a picture of the growth. So that they can see that you are not making a big deal out of nothing. Tell them that its affecting your confidence (because it is) and that you are very unhappy. Waxing and plucking can only go so far. Hopefully they will advise (Give you the cream). Flowers

Hello!

Sorry to hear about PCOS hair, I also suffer terribly on my lip and stomach.. ☹️
Vaniqua is the cream you need from the GP, you can also buy it from legitimate online pharmacies if you have a consultation (cream is expensive but apparently lasts a while). I’ve tried to get the cream myself, but my GP was reluctant due to the actual costs vs prescription costs. I’m asking my consultant instead when I go back to see him ..

I’ve also used Phillips Lumea home laser removal, it slowed the rate of hair growth by a lot but you have to stick it at for a while. Also depends on skin tone as it isn’t suitable for everyone unfortunately.. I’ve also used skin bleaching creams to lighten underarms etc from excessive shaving.

I hope this helps and Flowers to you, it’s not easy at all. ΧΧ
