Evidence based fertility supplements?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what supplements/natural products are actually evidence based?
I mean more like meta analysis of RCT and not a random blog.

Is there even any?

There are a few, but just "infertility" is a broad topic. I've used many, for lots of different specific purposes - for example, to thicken endometrial lining.

Is there a specific purpose within the subject of fertility that you're interested in?

I read "it starts with an egg". I quite liked it as if summarises evidence on different things and suggests different solutions to different situations. But I wouldn't like to recommend anything as I've no idea if any of it works at all!

@redpandafluff

Coincidence! thickening endometrial lining was exactly what I was looking into. What did you use?
I'm on Clomid and have light periods anyway, I'm worried there won't be enough to implant into.

@Janefx40 I read that too. I feel like it gave me a false sense of insight and control over my fertility....but then saying that I figured out pretty early on that I wasn't ovulating properly and did have to push for that to be recognised. 2.5 years later the hospital have finally agreed with me, hence the Clomid.

AliceScarlett, I had an issue with lining not thickening enough on our previous cycle, which was cancelled as a result.

On the basis of mainly, but not entirely anecdotal internet evidence, I took vitamins B6, B12, C, D, E, evening primrose oil, L-Arginine, and omega oils prior to and during this cycle. I also drank pomegranate juice daily and had acupuncture twice a week for 6 weeks before treatment and during the treatment, with sessions the day before and the day of ET. I got my BFP last week. No idea whether any of it made a difference, but I felt I was throwing everything at it.

I did find a scientific study advocating vitamin D and E supplements.

I was also interested in the use of vaginal Viagra for lining thickening, as well as Tamoxifen (the breast cancer drug can apparently also help lining thickening). I read about these on US forums but could not persuade our clinic here to consider either of those treatments, despite me finding a published medical report showing the link between tamoxifen use and endometrial growth.

@AliceScarlett endometrial lining can be a problem as @1Wanda1 says. But having light periods doesn't automatically mean that your lining isn't thick enough. I just get 3 days of which one is heavy (for maybe half a day, one medium and one super light). I've done IVF so have lots of info on my lining which has always been good.
