Clomid prescription but I am ovulating

Hi, my consultant has prescribed me clomid today but CD21 scans have shown that I am ovulating - presence of luteal body. My CD21 progesterone is on the low side (28) but I can evidence ovulation via the scan. Has anyone else been prescribed clomid but also has ovulation confirmed. I'm not sure what the benefit is?

Yams are supposed to be great for fertility so I'm not suprised to see it mentioned as a cream. To thode who mentioned progesterone cream - did you just use it as directed? Rub some on your tummy? If so, did you follow the amounts suggested on the bottle, and what days did you use it? I'm on Clomid, ovulate like clockwork and been told my progestogen levels are fine... but like most people ttc, I'm happy to give everything a try! Thanks in advance

Hi guys, I had my hycosy today and got my first clomid scan on Monday, I'm really hoping this is the month! How many follicles did you see when you started on clomid ?

Lemon, yes I used it as directed on the container, on a different body part every day. I am pretty sure there were some months when I wasn't pregnant though and it delayed af, do I had to stop using it in order for it to come.

Avocado, for two months I only produced 1 follicle. One month I produced 1 definite and 1 possible according to the nurse who scanned me. Can't remember which month I conceived. But no need to worry if you only produce 1 or 2!

I was given clomid for a short luteal phase. I would start spotting about 7dpo and AF would arrive no later than 10dpo. I took clomid for one cycle day 2-6 and 50mg dose. I produced one follicle and ovulated on cd16. I started spotting as normal at 7dpo and the progesterone blood tests confirmed that my progesterone had dropped from 54 at 5dpo to 34 at 7dpo. Somehow I managed to get pregnant that cycle and I'm now 15+1. I really don't know what clomid did but it clearly worked some how. This is my second baby, baby one was conceived with no real hassle.

I had a scan this morning on CD12 after taking clomid CD2-5 and I had one follicle measuring 14m and one measuring 9m. I usually ovulate around CD16 when I'm not on clomid and this is my first month on clomid. Does anyone have any advice or can comment on the follicle measurements?

Thanks! Mine were; two at 10-11cm on cd11, one at 14mm on cd13, one at 18mm on cd15 (Friday) and I ovulated on cd17 on Sunday. Sorry I thought it was cd16 until I read my notes! Do you have another scan tomorrow? You'll know from the growth how long it's looking like until it'll be ready!
