annovulation at 41 with good amh/fsh -pls help

I feel like a broken record but I have no one in real life to talk to about this and I don't know what's going on. My heart is breaking :(

Basically I was tested privately when NHS refused for fsh, amh & progesterone. Fsh was within normal (8) and amh (17) was very good for my age but the progesterone says I've not been ovulating. Managed to get repeat tests on NHS based on the progesterone. Still not ovulating. Need to wait until new year for referral to NHS infertility clinic as I had a very early Mc in Jan. I have bled regularly usually 27/28days apart but they've not been proper periods. Much much lighter and shorter. My gynae says that's because I've not ovulated. So as not to drip feed, I've asked many dr's about only waiting 6 months due to age and told that's not true even when presenting with a clear problem.

I've just turned 41 and I'm wondering if this is the beginning of the end for my ttc journey. Is this me starting the change? If I had low amh and high fsh I'd understand why everything was going haywire but the results are apparently good for my age, and I'm told amh is a clearer indication of impending menopause. I'd be much more at peace with everything if I wasn't left questioning what's going on. I can't really afford private investigations and NHS don't see me or this as a priority. I feel like I have ovaries full of rotting eggs unable to escape.

Has anyone got any experience of this kind of situation and what did you do to resolve it? Should I give up and go back to being an old lady shouting at traffic?

Have you been offered ovulation induction with Clomid?

Whether it's anovulation due to PCOS or hypothalamic amenorrhea or POF (which it blatantly isn't given your ovarian reserve) the cause in some ways is less important than the solution - ie ovulation induction

Would you go privately for ovulation induction treatment?

I'm sorry I've just re read about investigations

If you could get a private consultation for clomid the drug itself is cheap and although preferably it should be monitored with ultrasound, most NHS trusts just monitor with progesterone blood tests

Clomid is less than a tenner - would just need a consult with a Dr to give you a private prescription

Bank you banana fish that's our next step. NHS say we have to wait until next year to consider it but I'm thinking we'll just eat beans for a while to pay for the consultation and meds :)
