So I'm on day 59 of my cycle, I have polycistic ovaries, been on chlomid with no luck, tried soya isoflavones, the first two months on it my period was on time (give or take a few day), I have a 2 year old daughter from chlomid, I've done numerous pregnancy tests all negative, still no sign of period though, going out of my Mind now! Confused

Not sure I have any real answer for you ck but I know how lonely this is and didn't want to leave your post unanswered. The only one thing I can think to suggest is Vitex. My cousins periods were all over the place and she swears it got her pregnant. I've read a lot about it balancing hormones, but you'd have to do your own research if it's relevant for your PCOS.

I have shorter cycles of 24-26 days and the 2ww was already too long for me back when we were trying naturally (been diagnosed and moved on to IVF now) so I can only imagine how you must be going out of your mind on day 59 of your cycle.

Do you have any plan of attack for you next cycle - when it ever arrives!

Hi, Thanks for your response, I'm willing to try anything at the minute, I've never heard of vitex, I will read up on it, I'm just going to keep trying, I can't see it happening though Sad

You're welcome. I do hope the Vitex is suitable for PCOS when you do your research and you can have a glimmer of hope with something new to try. My periods used to be all over the place too. One cycle would be 18 days then the next 35. I then (somehow!) got pregnant and as soon as I stopped breastfeeding, I started Vitex and my periods have been regular ever since. So I don't know if it was the pregnancy of the vitex that got my periods on track. Although my husbands sperm has gone from 98% abnormal to 100% abnormal so even though I have now had 4 years of regular cycles, I have still not managed to create a sibling for my son.

Is there a reason that don't plan to get medical assistance but instead just keep trying on your own if you can't see it happening? I have had unsuccessful IVF and will try again in 7 weeks time. To me, I too know it won't happen naturally so it gives me a glimmer of hope knowing that I have IVF coming up.
