New to IVF? Things I've learned.

Hi all,
Having had 2 failed cycles, I'm afraid I'm feeling quite negative. However, I'd love it if I could give someone advice which led to successful IVF: no one should have to feel this rubbish! 
Perhaps if other IVF veterans have advice, they'd be kind enough to share it here too?

Ok:
- Buserelin is NOT an effective trigger. Your clinic may wish to give it to you instead of the normal hCG if you're at risk of OHSS, but you should know that studies show that the pregnancy rates are far lower and the early loss rates much higher with buserelin as the trigger.
2. It's YOUR body and YOUR embryos. You have the right to question everything eg I was told in no uncertain terms that none of my left over embryos would be frozen due to quality. When I asked if I had any say, they admitted it was actually my decision. Let the HCP advise and explain your options, but don't let them force decisions on you.

- Progesterone is crucial to the successful implantation of the embryo. You will be prescribed progesterone to start the night of egg collection. Ask for a blood test before egg transfer to check your progesterone levels are high enough. My clinic didn't do this blood test and my cycle failed, most probably due to low progesterone. This is avoidable!

Thank you little bear for this post! I've had 1 failed IVF attempt and 1 failed frozen transfer.... Upon reflection and reading up on what clinics such as ARGC do I don't feel I had the best care I could've had at all!!
So I would really like to hear more and from others about their research
